Taking to his Facebook handle, Zubeen Garg’s manager, Siddharth Sharma, revealed that, as most of the late singer's recorded songs are owned entirely by other music labels and production houses, in 2021, he decided to form Zubeen Garg Music LLP to retain ownership of his later works. Over the years, Zubeen has sung over 38,000 songs. Siddharth mentioned that this was the first and only business where the late singer and he were partners. "We have released over 20 songs under this entity, with a total investment of about Rs. 10 lakhs, out of which Zubeen da invested Rs. 6 Lakhs. Zubeen da owned 60% of the LLP, and it will be my privilege to ensure that the remaining balance is also transferred to his family."
