Ya Ali singer, Zubeen Garg's demise on September 19, 2025 because of a tragic scuba diving accident has left the entire nation mourning. Zubeen's wife, Garima Saikia Garg, is in a shattered state, but in her first video after Zubeen's demise, has requested a peaceful last tribute for her husband. The mortal remains of Zubeen are expected to arrive in India on September 21, 2025, from Singapore. Garima has also requested Zubeen's fans to withdraw FIRs filed against his manager, Siddharth Sharma.
Zubeen's demise has left his fans shattered, and tributes for the Ya Ali singer have been pouring in from various walks of life. Garima, in her first emotional video shared on September 20, 2025, requested Zubeen's fans while breaking down on withdrawing the FIRs filed against the singer's manager, Siddharth Sharma. Garima cried a river, appeared distressed and shared:
"I am urging everyone - Zubeen is coming home. When he was alive, you all showered him with love and blessings, and Zubeen loved all of you in return. I hope the last rites for his departure go peacefully. The police, along with the state administration, are fully supporting us.”
The video was first posted on Zubeen's official Facebook handle where Garima was seen folding her hands and talking to the fans. She wanted his fans to give him love even after he was gone and urged everyone to be calm and see him one last time. She also urged fans to let go of all the hatred they have for his manager and called Siddhartha their own brother. She did express her gratitude for getting support from the masses and also thanked the cops for being there during tough times. Garima noted:
"With Zubeen, Siddhartha is like our own brother. Zubeen liked him very much. Tomorrow, we need Siddhartha. I cannot do anything without him. Many incomplete works of Zubeen must be taken forward. Without him, something will be left unfinished in life."
Garima, in a crying state, did put weightage on the fact that all his life, Zubeen lived for his fans, and all that she wanted was a peaceful final goodbye for him. Reportedly, the cops have amplified all the security near Zubeen's Kahilipara residence and have also urged the masses to stay back until his body is taken to Safrusajai Stadium for the public tributes.
Apart from many FIRs being filed against Zubeen's manager, Siddharth, Garima has spoken in depth about the loyalty he showed and also remembered how he was always there when Zubeen faced health-related challenges back in 2020. Now, netizens after seeing the video commented, "Men is mortal but Zubeen da is immortal. We lost a diamond." Auser shared, "Legend can't die......Jai Zubeen da."
