Zubeen Garg's Manager 'Poisoned' Singer, Dismissed His 'Frothing From Mouth And Nose' As Acid Reflux

Zubeen Garg's death left the entire nation in shock at the age of 52. While earlier reports claimed that he died during a fatal scuba diving episode, later, it was dismissed by his wife. She stated that Zubeen was suffering from seizures, which took his life. Soon, police intervened and several arrests were made by the police, including Zubeen's manager, Siddharth Sharma, and Northeast India Festival organiser, Shyamkanu Mahanta. 

Zubeen Garg was allegedly murdered by his manager

Zubeen Garg took his last breath on September 19, 2025, near Lazarush Island in Singapore City. His recording, Sekhar Jyoti Goswami, and the singer, Amritprabha Mahanta, are also behind the matter while the police investigates the matter. As per the remand copy of Zubeen Garg's manager, Siddharth Sharma, eye witness, Sekhar Jyoti, revealed that a conspiracy was executed to portray Zubeen's death as 'accidental'.

According to Sekhar, Zubeen's manager, Siddharth was staying with him at the Pan Pacific hotel in Singapore and exhibited suspicious behaviour. Sekhar stated that Siddharth forcibly took control of the yacht from its sailor and made it wobble mid-sea, endangering passengers' lives. 

He also revealed that Siddharth instructed Tanmoy Phukan not to arrange drinks as he would provide it himself. As per Sekhar, Zubeen had difficulty in breathing and was about to drown when Siddharth yelled, 'Jabo de, Jabo de (let him go, let him go). It is worth mentioning that Zubeen was an expert swimmer and could not have died while swimming. Sekhar claimed that Siddharth and Northeast India Festival organiser, Shyamkanu Mahanta, poisoned Zubeen and chose a foreign location to execute their murder. In fact, Siddharth was the one who told him not to share yacht videos of Zubeen with anyone.

However, the most shocking detail around Zubeen's death was revealed by Sekhar, who claimed that his manager, Siddharth, dismissed the singer's frothing in the mouth and nose as 'acid reflux'. In fact, he assured everyone around him not to worry about it. Instead of providing timely medical facilities, he assured the early demise of Zubeen. 

Zubeen Garg's alleged last video, struggled while swimming

Days after Zubeen Garg's death, a video of him with his friends at a cruise party went viral on social media. In the clip, Zubeen was seen without a life jacket, and he appeared exhausted, struggling to stay afloat. He was swimming alongside his friends, but looked out of breath as he tried to reach a raft. However, his friend came to his rescue, rushed and assisted him. 

It is worth mentioning that the timeline of the video is unclear, and BollywoodShaadis was unable to verify the claims made in the clip. But the clip left many of his fans emotional and praying for his family after his sudden demise at the age of 52. It is also to be noted that in earlier reports, it was revealed that Zubeen first jumped into the sea wearing a life jacket, but returned to remove it as it felt uncomfortable for him to swim. He then jumped back in without it, and it was during the second swim that he met with the mishap.
