Now, the family is gearing up for another celebration as Akhil Akkineni, the younger son of superstar, Nagarjuna, is all set to marry his fiancee, Zainab Ravdjee. The duo got engaged back in November 2024, and now, their wedding details are out.
According to a report by India Today, the much-anticipated wedding of Akhil and Zainab will take place on March 24, 2025, at the iconic Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, a location that holds sentimental value for the Akkineni family. The wedding ceremony will reportedly be an intimate affair, attended by close family, friends, and some prominent figures from the film, political, and business worlds.
The venue, Annapurna Studios, holds special significance as it was established by Akhil’s grandfather, the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Naga Chaitanya also married Sobhita Dhulipala in the same venue, which reflects the family’s deep-rooted tradition to connect with their legacy in every significant milestone of their lives. However, rumours are also swirling about the possibility of a destination wedding. If this happens, fans can look forward to a grand reception in Hyderabad, which promises to be a star-studded event.
On November 26, 2024, Akhil took to his Instagram handle to post pictures of his engagement with Zainab, and the photos were nothing short of dreamy. The duo radiated peace and warmth in their white-hued outfits. Akhil looked dapper in a crisp white-hued shirt with matching pants, while his fiancee, Zainab opted for a flowy maxi-dress with bishop sleeves. However, the highlight of the photos was the huge engagement ring that shone bright on Zainab’s hand. The couple’s smiles and love-filled stares were enough to bring vibrance to the photos. Akhil announced his engagement with a heartfelt caption that read:

Zainab Ravdjee is the daughter of celebrated industrialist, Zulfi Ravdjee. She is a celebrated artist known for her vibrant paintings. She is originally from Hyderabad but is now based in Mumbai. The 39-year-old has also dabbled in acting and made a notable appearance in MF Hussain’s Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities.
Meanwhile, Akhil made his debut in cinema as a child artist in the 1994 film, Sisindri. He has since been a part of several Telugu films, including Akhil, Hello, and Most Eligible Bachelor.
