Much before the cameras started rolling for them and their enormous amount of fame; many of the much-loved stars from the telly land were already living a married life.

Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina are no less than a power couple who came into the limelight when they played the lead roles in NDTV’s Ramayan as Ram and Sita in 2011. Back then rumours swirled that the pair is going to propose each other and get engaged.
But, this surely was not the reality. They had entered the wedlock much before and they remained tight-lipped about it. So, those who think that it all happened on the sets of the show must know that it was a temple marriage in Goregaon held with the help of their friends in 2006.

Talking about his secret marriage, Gurmeet, in an interview said:
“A lot of people think that I and Debina met while filming for Ramayan, and then we got married in 2011. Very few know that when we were nothing, we weren’t actors, we were only looking for work – we were just 19 and 20 years old, we eloped and got married, in 2006. We did not tell our parents. Our friends helped us to get married at a temple in Goregaon.”

Only after a year or two of her marriage, Shweta made it big with Balaji’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2001). But her relationship fizzled and she got married for the second time to Abhinav Kohli in 2013. The couple welcomed a son on November 27, 2016, and named him Reyansh.
