Pasoori Nu song from the film, Satyaprem Ki Katha starring Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan gained immense popularity after it got released in 2023. The song was sung by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar. The Nusrat portion of the song is still present, despite the addition of fresh sections in the Fanney Khan version. Kinna Sona Tenu Rab Ne Banaya by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is the one Pakistani song that Bollywood never gets tired of reiterating. Bollywood has reproduced this song numerous times, but each time the new version falls short of the original.

When compared to the original song from Mubakaran, this Mika Singh and Prakriti Kakar song was extremely remarkable.
Weddings are incomplete without the song, Mera Piya Ghar Aaya. It is still a hit at all the celebrations. Well, till today, the song holds the same magic as it had when it first got released in the film, Yaraana in 1995. The melodious track was sung by renowned singer, Kavita Krishnamurthy. Pakistani singer, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, however, sang the original version of the song, Mera Piya Ghar Aaya.
Remade from a Pakistani folk song, the popular Hindi song, Lambi Judaai from the film, Hero stars Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri. To everyone's surprise, the song was orginally sung by Reshma, a Pakistani folk singer, who also sang the Bollywood version. Later on, a different rendition of Judaai appeared in Emraan Hashmi's Jannat and it was equally heartfelt.

The song, Aahun Aahun from Love Aaj Kal that features Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone is an adaption of a traditional Pakistani song. Shaukat Ali Khan's song, Kadi Te Has Bol Ve served as the inspiration for a significant portion of the Bollywood version's lyrics.
Okay, this one is definitely unexpected. The hit song from the film, Student Of The Year, Disco Deewane, is a remake of a well-known Pakistani song from the 1980s. This song was performed by Nazia Hassan and her brother, Zoheb Hassan, who is best known for the song, Aap Jaisa Koi from the movie Qurbani (1980). Bollywood added a few words here and there to the original Disco Deewane, a party anthem. According to Karan Johar, Nazia's version served as his inspiration.
For her 1998 album, Roshni, Hadiqa Kiani sang, Boohey Baariyan, with lyrics penned by her mother. And in 2022, Kanika Kapoor released an Indian version of the song. However, it failed to grab much attention and did not go down well with the audience.
The popular song, Naach Punjaaban from the film, Jugjugg Jeeyo became a party anthem. The hook step of the dance number grabbed a lot of attention and became a hit among movie lovers. However, do you know originally, the song belonged to the Pakistani singer, Abrarul Haq? The song was made for the Pakistani film, Kaun Banega Karorpati, 2002.
Did you know that the song, Tujhe Bhoolna Toh Chaha by Jubin Nautiyal and Rochak Kohli (2021) was actually a ripoff of a Pakistani song. Originally, it was sung by the popular Pakistani singer, Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi in Coke Studio. The song was copied verbatim from Pakistani music, including the lyrics.
The song, Aadat from the Emran Hasmi starrer film, Kalyug was sung by Atif Aslam. However, originally, the song belonged to a Pakistan band named, Jal. It was formed by music composer, Goher Mumtaz. Moreover, the song, Aadat was released by the band in December 2003, two years before the film, Kalyug was released.
