Television actress, Tunisha Sharma left for the heavenly abode after she died by suicide on December 24, 2022. She was only twenty years old when she took the dreadful action and ended her life, leaving behind her mother all alone in this world. As per multiple reports, soon after her demise, her devastated mother also filed a complaint against her ex-boyfriend and Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul co-star, Sheezan Khan. Following this, he was also arrested under the abetment of suicide case by the police.
As per reports, Tunisha who is survived by her mother, was the only bread earner of their family. After her demise, her mother is left devastated with mere memories of her for the rest of her life. However, the doting daughter has left a huge property for her mother. As per a report in News18, Tunisha left property worth Rs. 15 crores and an expensive apartment in the suburbs of Mumbai. However, as no money can be bigger than a close one, her mother is completely devasted and was also seen being carried by some of her relatives as she was spotted outside the hospital.

Earlier, in an interview with the ETimes, Tunisha Sharma’s mother, Vanita had opened up about her daughter's untimely death. She also made how Sheezan had made false promises of marriage to her daughter. In addition, Vanita was heard admitting that the actress was also close to Sheezan's mother. However, asking for strict action against him, she had said:
"Sheezan should be punished. He promised marriage to my daughter aur phir usko dhoka diya. Tunisha visited his residence and was very close to his mother. Mera bachcha gaya hai. I’m in no state to speak. I am too shocked."
For the unversed, Tunisha Sharma and Sheezan Khan parted ways with each other 15 days before the former committed suicide. Now, in an interview with the ETimes, Sheezan's lawyer, Shailendra Mishra was asked about his and his client's side of the story. However, Shailendra mentioned that he and his client would address the issue at the right moment of time and Tunisha's untimely death is a painful situation for both Sharma and Khan families. Shailendra said:
“Both families are victims at this point. Let the right time come and we will address the matter, but this is not the right time. Death is a painful situation, and everyone needs to honour the privacy of the affected families and give them the space to mourn.”

After Tunisha committed suicide and her mother filed a complaint against Sheezan, he was arrested for abetment of suicide under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code. Pointing at this, Sheezan's lawyer, Shailendra mentioned in the same conversation that he has certain evidence which would falsify the allegations made against his client. Moreover, he mentioned that he is confident about Sheezan and added:
“I have certain evidence to prove that they (Tunisha and Sheezan) had moved on. Accusations have been levelled against Sheezan and the police are investigating the case. I am confident that an innocent guy has been arrested.”
Tunisha Sharma’s demise has left a big hole in the millions of hearts of her friends, family, fans, and the Television industry.
