In 2014, when Virat Kohli was not able to perform well during England tour, he was badly trolled along with his then-girlfriend and now wife, Anushka Sharma. From media to fans, everyone had blamed Anushka for the cricketer's poor performance. However, four years later in 2018, the duo was seen exchanging flying kisses after Virat had scored a hundred in a test match against South Africa in England.
For the uninitiated, the chain, which Virat had kissed is no ordinary chain. It is the chain on which he wears his wedding ring, and the gesture was a lovely reply to all those, who kept accusing his wife, Anushka of his performance.
During 2018 IPL matches, Anushka Sharma kept gracing the pavilion with her presence. After becoming 'Missus Virat Kohli', she had openly cheered for her hubby. In one of the matches, Anushka stood up to shower her love on her hubby, Virat.
During the T20 match with the West Indies, Virat had cruised 67-run victory and had secured a 2-1 series win against them. He had dedicated his win to Anushka as the couple was celebrating their second wedding anniversary. In 2019, when the Indian cricket team had defeated Australia and had won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy under Virat's captaincy, it was Anushka, who was the happiest. The gorgeousness had joined Virat on the field for a post-match celebration. She was seen hugging Virat as they had walked together.

For the unversed, on September 16, 2021, Virat Kohli announced that he is going to step down from the captaincy position after T20 World Cup in Dubai. Virat's decision left many of his fans emotional.
