Indian singer and composer, A R Rahman is on cloud nine as his daughter, Khatija Rahman has got married. The gorgeousess started her forever journey with the love of her life, Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed and tied the knot on May 5, 2022. The couple had got hitched on December 29, 2021, and now, they have embarked on a new journey in their lives. Pictures from their intimate wedding ceremony are doing rounds on the internet, and we can't get enough of it.
For the unversed, it was on January 3, 2022, when AR Rahman's daughter, Khatija Rahman had delighted her massive fanbase with the news about her engagement. She had shared a picture collage featuring her fiance, Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed. In the picture, Khatija had looked gorgeous in a pink and silver outfit, along with a matching mask, a garland, and jewellery. Sharing the picture, the singer had revealed that she and Riyasdeen had got engaged on December 29, 2021.Her note could be read as:
"With the blessings of the Almighty I'm happy to announce to you all my engagement with Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed @riyasdeenriyan, an aspiring entrepreneur and a wizkid audio engineer. The engagement happened on December 29, my birthday in the presence of close family and loved ones. #KhatijaRahmanEngagementWithRiyasdeen #ThankYou."

On May 5, 2022, A R Rahman shared the first ever picture from his daughter, Khatija's wedding ceremony. In the picture, we can see AR Rahman along with his wife, Saira Banu, and their children, Ameen and Rahima, posing with the newlyweds. The picture also showed us a photo frame of Rahman's mother, Kareema kept beside the newlywedded couple. Sharing the picture, the singer penned:
"May the Almighty bless the couple .. thanking you in advance for your good wishes and love @khatija.rahman @riyasdeenriyan #nikkahceremony #marraige."
A few moments back, Khatija Rahman also shared a photo with her husband, Riyasdeen on her IG handle. In the picture, the newlyweds complemented each other in pastel wedding ensembles, and they looked perfect together. While Khatija donned a cream-coloured suit paired with a dupatta and a matching mask, on the other hand, her groom looked dapper in a bandhgala sherwani. Sharing the beautiful picture, Khatija wrote the caption as:
"The most awaited day in my life. Married to my man @riyasdeenriyan."

Earlier, Khatija Rahman had confirmed the ongoing media reports that her engagement ceremony was an intimate one due to COVID-19 restrictions. Only close family members and relatives were invited to the ceremony. She had also added that their wedding ceremony would be an intimate one, just like their engagement. For the unversed, Khatija Rahman had made her singing debut at the age of 14, in her father, AR Rahman's father composition, O Maramanishi/Puthiya Manidha, alongside SP. Balasubramanyam in the film, Robo.
