Reacting to all the rumours, Aamir Ali shared a video on his Twitter handle where he expressed his feelings of being misunderstood. He stated that his mom always taught him to be a gentleman, and he was just escorting a friend to her car. Aamir further clarified that he and Shamita are single and are just very close friends. He further compared himself with superstar, Shah Rukh Khan and said:
“Shah Rukh Khan sir bhi, main suna hun, jab mehmaan aate hai toh darwaaze tak chorne jaate hai. Toh woh theek hai, maine karliya toh, just saying.”
Shamita Shetty also denied the rumours and emphasized her and Aamir's desire for privacy. She criticized the prudish mentality of the public and further questioned why a celebrity's every move is scrutinised, expressing her need for personal space.
