Virat Kohli, an eminent Indian cricketer, needs no introduction. The way he proved his mettle and gave his everything on the field, the entire nation is proud of him. Apart from his professional life, Virat is a perfect family man, and he never shies away from crediting his wife for his massive wins, which is surely rare to see. There's no denying the fact that Virat's love for his wife and kids knows no bounds. And now, Aamir Ali shared an unheard anecdote about the cricketer, which will again prove the same.
In a recent interview with Galatta India, Aamir Ali shared his first interaction with Virat Kohli. The actor said that he first met Virat on a set as they had to shoot for an advertisement together. Aamir mentioned that he is a big fan of MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, and he wanted to get an autograph but couldn't ask for it, so he ended up clicking a photo. Sharing how lovely a guy Virat is, Aamir stated that the cricketer sent him a bat with his autograph. Aamir can be quoted as saying:

"I met Virat recently when we were shooting for something, I am a huge fan of him and MS Dhoni, I was going to ask for an autograph, but then I just took a photo, thinking that it might not look nice. But then he wrote an autograph on a bat and sent it. He is a lovely guy, I had such a nice interaction with him.”

Going further in the interview, Aamir Ali revealed that he and Virat talked for a while. Sharing what he likes most about Virat, Aamir mentioned that when the cricketer talks about his family, his face just lights up, which is very endearing. Surely, it proves how doting of a father and loving of a husband Virat actually is. Aamir can be quoted as saying:
"Virat and I had a great time chatting and what I liked the most about him was that when he spoke about his family he had a different spark on his face, that was very endearing. I loved that the most about him.”
Virat Kohli got married to the love of his life, Anushka Sharma back in 2017. And it was in 2021, when the actress gave birth to their baby girl, Vamika. In 2024, their family was completed with the arrival of their baby boy, Akaay. However, earlier, in an interview with Zoom, Aamir Ali shared that when he was shooting with Virat, the cricketer showed him his daughter's photo and even talked fondly about Anushka.

Aamir also added that he had seen Akaay as well, and the little one is extremely cute. Aamir remarked that it was Anushka's decision to keep their babies away from the public limelight. Aamir also mentioned that Akaay is golu molu and a cutie pie. Aamir Ali stated:
"Akaay is damn cute. I told him it’s good that you’ve kept them away. It’s Anushka’s decision to keep the kids away. Kids have to be. But he’s so golu molu and a cute pie, god bless him.”

Virat Kohli never shies away from showing his affection towards his family publicly. It was soon after India's tremendous win at the ICC T20I WC when Virat was seen on a video call with his wife, Anushka, and his kids, Vamika and Akaay. From being emotional to making goofy faces to make his kids laugh, Virat proved that he is not only just a tremendous cricketer but a wonderful husband and a doting father as well.
