Now, according to the latest buzz, he is seeing Metro In Dino star Fatima, who also happens to be Vijay's co-star. It all started when both of them were seen in a cafe in Mumbai, and pictures of Fatima and Vijay went viral on Reddit, where they were seen giving each other a warm hug before bidding goodbye. As seen in the pictures, Fatima wore a black sleeveless top with denim jeans and left her tresses open. Vijay, on the other side, wore a white shirt, black jeans, carried a side bag and completed his look with black shades.

It is interesting to note that Vijay and Fatima will be seen together in their next movie, Gustaakh Ishq, which was earlier titled, Ul Jalool Ishq. The film is being produced by Bollywood's ace designer, Manish Malhotra.

However, it was in March 2025 when they reportedly split as Tamannaah wanted a permanent relationship and Vijay, on the other side, wanted to shape his career. The former couple was together for 2 years. The exact cause of the breakup was not known but both of them had different views on marriage and on the concept of settling down.
