Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan is all set to get married to her long-time boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare on January 3, 2024. As per multiple reports, Ira will have a registered marriage, followed by a lavish party thereafter. Wedding preparations have begun at the Khan residence, and paps got a glimpse of the same.
On January 2, 2023, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's haldi ceremony began, and it was her stepmom, Kiran Rao stole the show. Kiran was seen decked up in a purple-coloured nauvari saree. She complemented her look with gajra and a subtle look.

We also got a glimpse of Ira's mother, Reena Dutta as she was dressed in a dark green silk saree with a contrasting red-coloured blouse. Reena posed with Nupur and his mother. Nupur looked handsome in a red-coloured kurta and white pyjama. Nupur's mom was seen welcoming the guests and posing with them.

In the pictures doing rounds on social media, Aamir Khan’s Bandra home was seen decked up with fairy lights. Not just this, Aamir’s first wife, Reena Dutta’s house too was decorated with flowers and lights for the big day.

Ira Khan is quite active on social media and has been sharing glimpses of her pre-wedding ceremonies. The star kid recently posted a few glimpses of herself decked up in a Maharashtrian saree along with floral jewellery. Flaunting her bridal glow, Ira was seen following some Maharashtrian rituals.
Ira also shared a video featuring several guests seated around a huge dining table and relishing delicious Maharashtrian cuisine. Aamir Khan’s ex-wife, Kiran Rao, and their son, Azad Rao Khan were also present at the intimate affair. Kiran looked stunning as she was dressed in an off-white outfit and was seated next to her son, Azad. In the backdrop, Ira was heard saying:
“My God guys, get married to a Maharashtrian and get a Kelvan. How fun is this?”

Earlier, we stumbled upon a glimpse of Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding invite, which surfaced on the internet. The invite was set in a black and gold theme with initials of Ira and Nupur written in a simple logo at the top. The date of their nuptials was written as January 13, 2024. The message on the card read:
“It gives us great pleasure to invite you to celebrate the marriage of our children Ira & Nupur. Please join us to bless the couple. 13th January Saturday. Love Pritam, Reena and Aamir. Blessings only.”
In an interview with News18, Aamir Khan opened up about his daughter’s marriage and revealed that it would be an extremely emotional moment for him. Talking about the same, he stated:
“Main toh bada emotional hota hoon bhai, uss din main bahut rone waala hoon yeh toh tay hai. Discussions have already begun in the family that ‘Aamir ko sambaalna uss din’ because I am very emotional. I can’t control my smile nor my tears.”
