Aamir Khan and Salman Khan have established themselves as the top stars in the Hindi film industry. The duo, who began their career around the same time in the 1990s, have made some of the most memorable films in Bollywood in the last three decades, earning a massive fan following. Despite their popularity, the actors didn't work much together apart from their 1994 iconic film, Andaz Apna Apna, where they had a fallout. Recently, the two met and shared inside details about their 30-year-old conflict.
Aamir Khan recently graced the grand finale of Bigg Boss 18 with his son, Junaid Khan, and Khushi Kapoor to promote their upcoming film, Loveyapa. During their interaction, Salman Khan recalled that he once saw an old video of Aamir Khan from the last day of their 1994 film. In that interview, Aamir mentioned that he was relieved to finally complete his work with Salman Khan.
The Dabangg actor added that Aamir had also shared that he would never work with Salman Khan again in his life. Aamir laughed at those memories and mentioned that it was his feeling in the past. But, gradually, they bonded and have become good friends over time. He explained:
"That was my feeling at the time, but now my feelings have changed. With time, I've grown to appreciate who Salman is. It just took me some time to understand."
In the same conversation, the duo stumbled upon the cause of their decades-old conflict. Salman Khan explained that Aamir Khan made comments about his punctuality at work in his interviews, and had an issue with it. However, it happened because the Dangal actor did one film at a time and reached the set on time at 7 am. Meanwhile, Salman, who was busy working on 15 films simultaneously, reached after finishing another shoot. Aamir expressed his disapproval over Salman's habit once again, and the latter said:
"He (Aamir) also worked like that, but he was among the first ones to stop doing so (multiple films at a time)."
During their fun banter, the superstars revealed that they had known each other since childhood and studied together in class 2. At the same time, Aamir also expressed his desire to make Andaz Apna Apna sequel with Salman.

To promote Loveyapa's theme of new-age love story Salman and Aamir engaged in a fun activity and exchanged their phones. Initially, the Tiger 3 actor was hesitant to unlock his phone and said Aamir would be shocked and fall out over seeing his phone. In response, Aamir said that he would keep all secrets of Salman Khan safe with him. In turn, the latter refused to see Aamir Khan's phone and mentioned that he already knew he would only find messages from his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao leaving everyone in splits.
