Aamir Khan is hailed among the most successful actors in Tinseltown, He rules many hearts with his exceptional acting prowess and on-screen presence. However, despite being one of the biggest stars in Bollywood, Aamir has one complaint when it comes to his children. Just like any other Indian parent, the actor also has one complain that his kids don’t listen to him. For the unversed, Aamir Khan has three children, Junaid Khan, Ira Khan, and Azad Rao Khan.
Recently, Aamir Khan appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show and candidly poured his heart out while talking about his personal life with comedian-host, Kapil Sharma. The actor-producer revealed that though the people of his generation always obeyed their parents, now his children don't listen to him at all. Talking about it, the PK actor said:
“My children just don’t listen to me. Sometimes I feel our generation is stuck in the middle. We used to listen to our parents. We thought our children would listen to us and that our time would also come, as Ranveer Singh said in his song 'Apna Time Ayega'. But when we became parents, our children had changed. They just don’t listen to us. First, our parents scolded us, and now our children are doing the same.”

Speaking along the same lines, Aamir Khan revealed that many of his colleagues request him to guide their children so that they could learn from his extensive experience. Reminiscing about his close friend, Jackie Shroff’s request, Aamir shared that when the former's son, Tiger, was going to make his Bollywood debut, he had asked the latter to guide him. Aamir said:
“Jaggu (Jackie Shroff) is a very good friend of mine. So, when his son Tiger Shroff was going to make his debut in the industry, Jaggu told me, ‘He is my son. Meet him once, talk to him. Just see how he is.’”
However, Aamir finds it ironic that while other newcomers are eager to learn from him, his own children brush aside his advice. Talking about the same, the actor shared that his kids are not interested in him and they never want to take his advice on anything. Aamir added:
“But my children are not interested in me. They never take my advice. And when I give advice, they go, ‘Papa!’ (indicating they don’t want to be told what to do). 'Ghar ki murgi dal barabar'. It’s a perfect saying.”
