Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan are one of the most handsome and talented actors in the Hindi film industry. While one is known as the Badshah of Bollywood, the other is called 'Mr. Perfectionist'. The two Khans have been ruling the showbiz world for more than two decades with their power-packed performances in films like Jawan, Pathaan, Dunki, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dangal, 3 Idiots, Laal Singh Chaddha, PK, Ghajini and many more. Shah Rukh and Aamir don't share a friendly bond, but with time, their relationship has come to a common ground of respect. Now, an old video of Aamir Khan resurfaced on the internet, wherein he talked about SRK's marketing skills.
On December 9, 2023, a Reddit user shared an old video of Aamir Khan on the discussion platform. In the video, the actor can be seen talking about the importance of marketing in the film industry. Reflecting on the same, Mr Perfectionist mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan has great marketing skills. Aamir mentioned that SRK has the best PR, and his ability to keep the media happy is wonderful, as not many actors have this skill. In his words:
"Shah Rukh excels in. And which is his strength is that he has got a great PR. I think his ability to manipulate the media and keep them happy is a great quality. Not all of us have that quality, and not all of us have that capability. So, he does that very well."

Soon after the video went viral on the discussion platform, netizens flooded the comment section of the post with their reactions. While one Reddit user wrote, "Image management is an art and srk is good at it. However time has come when people also know how untrue it is. Things are changed now," another one commented, "That means SRK is media friendly. Does not have to give it a negative connotation by using a word like manipulations." One more internet user reacted to the video and wrote, "Acting like aamir is a saint and doesn't know a thing about pr. He was always insecure about srk." Another comment can be read as "Aamir is so insecure of Shahrukh yaar. Oso me cameo bhi nhi kiya. What a looser."

Earlier, in a candid conversation with Filmfare, Shah Rukh Khan opened up about Aamir Khan and made some startling statements about him. Talking about him, the actor mentioned that Aamir is a far better actor than him. Admitting that the Dangal actor is his closest rival, SRK said:
"Well, there's Aamir Khan, I can't call him competition, he is a far better actor. If there's a superb actor in a country today it's Aamir. I've heard that he wants to retire after 30 and turn director. I plan to quit at 30 too."

During the promotion of his film, Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir revealed a lesser-known anecdote and shared how Shah Rukh's production house, Red Chillies saved his film. The actor shared that his film, Laal Singh Chaddha was clashing with the Telugu film, KGF at the box office. However, since SRK's production house still needed some time to complete the VFX for KGF, it was safe for him to release his own film.
