Popular Bollywood actor, Aamir Khan and his family celebrated the 90th birthday of his beloved mother, Zeenat Hussain, on June 13, 2024. The event reportedly took place at the actor’s Mumbai residence. Earlier, several media reports revealed that Aamir would be flying in over 200 guests from all over India to celebrate this special occasion. His mother was unwell for over a year and has recovered. As she has been doing well now, Aamir’s extended family wanted to get together and celebrate his mother's birthday.
Recently, a special glimpse from Zeenat Hussain’s 90th birthday celebrations has surfaced on social media. In the picture, Aamir was seated beside his mother and his two sisters, Nikhat Khan and Farhat Khan also accompanied them. The mother-son duo was seen twinning in white-hued traditional attires. While Aamir wore a classy sherwani featuring golden-toned buttons, which he paired with black boots, his mother, looked absolutely stunning in a sequined saree accessorised with pricey jewellery.

Everyone was dressed in traditional outfits for the occasion. However, Aamir’s daughter, Ira, caught everyone’s attention with her choice of outfit. She re-wore the blouse which she had donned for her wedding ceremony. While she had paired the blouse with dhoti pants during her wedding, this time, she chose to pair the green-hued, heavily worked blouse with a peach-toned saree.
On June 13, 2024, Aamir’s ex-wife, Kiran Rao, took to her Instagram stories and posted a special photo wishing the actor’s mother a happy 90th birthday. Aamir’s mother looked lovely in a pastel green-hued salwar suit, which she accessorised with matching-coloured earrings. Sharing the picture, the Laapataa Ladies director penned:
“Happy 90th birthday Ammi.”

Meanwhile, Aamir’s daughter, Ira Khan, also wished her granny on her special day. She, too, took to her Instagram stories and shared a black-and-white picture featuring her mother-in-law, Pritam Shikhare, and her grandmother, Zeenat Hussain. In the picture, Ira’s mother-in-law was seen giving a peck on Aamir’s mother’s forehead. Sharing the picture, Ira just wrote a simple birthday wish, which can be read as:
“Happy Birthday, Dadi.”
