Aamir Khan is one of the most bankable actors in the film industry. However, his personal life too, often hit the headlines for their real-life family drama. For instance, if reports are to be believed, while it looked all good between Aamir and his brother, Faisal Khan when they acted together in the 2000 film Mela, many things were off-route in their actual relationship. Earlier, Faisal had levelled several allegations against Aamir and made a shocking revelation that he was once ‘caged’ by Aamir. Faisal also fought a legal battle with his family in 2007-08, and during the same, he also accused his brother, Aamir Khan, of kidnapping him and keeping him in his house behind closed doors.
Now, it seems that things have become normal again between Aamir Khan and Faisal Khan, and they have tried their best to solve their matters. Proof of the same was found when Faisal graced Aamir's daughter, Ira Khan's wedding ceremony with Nupur Shikhare. But now, a Reddit user shared a screengrab of Faisal's appearance at the event and curated an old news of the fued between Aamir and his brother, Faisal. As per the screengrab, Faisal even filed a police report against Aamir and talked about the custody battle Aamir and his father had previously fought for the former.

Soon, many other netizens started commenting on the same. While one netizen mentioned how it is extremely difficult for a person to take care of another mentally ill family person, another Reddit user penned, "Mental illness runs in Aamir Khan's family." One more user's comment can be read, "I think he always had that inferiority complex because whe did not do as well as Aamir , he seemingly was depressed and kind of acted out and said many mean things about his own family."

On June 16, 2023, Aamir Khan and Faisal Khan attended their mother's birthday party, Zeenat Hussain, and their sister, Nikhat Hegde, shared a series of pictures from the same on her Instagram handle. In the pictures, the whole family was seen coming together for Zeenat's birthday bash. However, it was Aamir and Faisal's pictures together, which were simply unmissable. In one of the pictures, Aamir Khan was seen greeting his brother, Faisal as he arrived at the get-together and also gave him a hug. While Aamir was seen in a yellow-hued kurta and red-hued salwar, on the other hand, Faisal was decked up in a black shirt and white pants. Meanwhile, another picture showed all four siblings coming together to pose with their mother, and it was a priceless frame.

Aamir Khan recently celebrated his doting daughter, Ira Khan's marriage to the love of her life, Nupur Shikhare. The madly-in-love duo got married to each other legally on January 3, 2024, followed by a white wedding on January 10, 2024. In a video, dropped by Spice Social, Aamir was seen talking about his emotions after watching Ira tying the knot. Aamir looked dapper in a blue-hued pantsuit, and when he was asked about his emotions, the actor expressed that he had been like the musical instrument, shehnai. He mentioned that it was a mixture of happy and sad tones, and was heard saying:
"My emotion was like a shehnai. It’s an instrument played in shaadis. Shehnai mein ek quality hoti hain ki who apko thodi si khushi bhi deti hain aur thodi si udasi bhi deti hain. Combo, uska ek mishran hota hain emotions ka shehnai mein. So that’s my emotions."
