Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Sanjay Kapoor is all set to make her debut in Bollywood with the film, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. For the uninitiated, the upcoming film, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, featuring Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey as leads is set to hit the big screens on July 11, 2025. Ever since the trailer of the movie came to light, netizens flooded the comment section lauding debutant, Shanaya. Many users compared the actress with the star kids existing in B-Town. Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan showcases a blindfolded love story featuring Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey

The two-minute 39-second trailer introduced Shanaya as 'Saba Shergill' and Vikrant Massey as 'Jahaan'. In the trailer, Shanaya most of the time appeared wearing a blindfold, and Vikrant is a visually impaired musician. The trailer starts with both Shanaya and Vikrant screaming, followed by 'Saba’s' tight slap to 'Jahaan'. However, as time passes, 'Saba' and 'Jahaan' find solace in each other, and their experimental love story begins. Soon after everything appeared to be a perfect blindfolded love story, a third person enters 'Saba's' life and sets apart both 'Saba' and 'Jahaan'. With 'Saba’s' confession of love for 'Jahaan', now it’s time to see who 'Saba' will choose as her partner - 'Jahaan' or 'Abhinav'.

Soon after Zee Studios released the trailer of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan on YouTube, netizens rushed to the comment section to share their reviews. Many users praised Shanaya for her performance in the upcoming film. Lauding both Shanaya and Vikrant, one user wrote, "I know Vikrant is evergreen but Shanaya is really proving herself that she's none the less". Praising Shanaya’s performance as a debutant, another user commented:

"I expected an Ananya 2.0. But Shanaya surprised me. Brilliant and excellent performance for a debutant. All her expressions are phenomenal. The time she gave herself for moulding into an actor and then debuting with a fantastic movie is something I respect a lot about Shanaya. Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is a romantic film directed by Santosh Singh and produced by Mansi Bagla, Varun Bagla and Open Window Films. The film will feature Vikrant Massey and debutant, Shanaya Kapoor as a fresh pair on-screen. Just like Hrithik Roshan’s film, Kaabil, the audience will again experience a new kind of blindfolded love story. Presented by Zee Studios and Mini films, the film was shot across different places, including Europe, Azerbaijan, Mussoorie, and Dehradun. Vishal Mishra plays an important role in the movie as he is in charge of the soulful tracks present in the film.
