Aashika Bhatia is one of the most popular faces in the entertainment industry. Moreover, being a social media content creator, she enjoys a huge fan following on the internet. Recently, the diva grabbed a lot of attention for her stint on the popular reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 2. Unfortunately, Aashika got evicted from the house two weeks before the finale. Now, in an interview, she talked about getting body-shamed. For the unversed, during her stay inside the 'strange house', the actress had publicly talked about her co-contestant, Elvish Yadav, who fat-shamed her in one of his YouTube videos.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Aashika Bhatia opened up about forgiving her co-contestant, Elvish Yadav for fat-shaming her in one of his YouTube videos. Elaborating more on it, the actress stated that she forgave him a while ago, even before they entered the BB house. Aashika added that they both don't hold grudges against each other. Mentioning she and Elvish are on good terms, Aashika said:
"Yes, I already forgave Elvish in the lockdown itself. I even forget something like that happened between us. Things were quite different when we met each other after that, everyone had different perspectives. When things were good between us none of us held any grudges against one another."

In the same interview, Aashika opened up about getting fat-shamed. Talking about the same, the actress revealed that it doesn't affect her anymore. Aashika also recalled the time when the trolling on her weight used to affect her. Mentioning how it was new for her to experience such amount of hate on the internet, owing to her body weight, the actress stated:
"It doesn't affect me anymore. That time it was a new thing for me so it did affect me a lot in the past. Ab farak nahi padta. Mostly, no one says anything anymore. They don’t have anything to say."
Earlier, in one of the episodes of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Aashika was seen talking to her co-contestant, Bebika Dhurve. During the conversation, the actress could be seen talking about Elvish Yadav. On being asked by Bebika, "Since how many years have you known Elvish?", Aashika stated that she had come to know about Elvish during the lockdown after the latter made a roast video on her. Aashika added that he even body-shamed her. Elaborating more on it, she had said:
"I got to know him during lockdown. He had made a roast video on me. It was about body shaming me. But I ignored it as I was very happy in my skin."

For the unversed, Aashika had mesmerised the internet with her drastic weight loss within a short span of time. Earlier, the actress was fat-shamed on social media and after that, she drastically transformed her body. Moreover, online haters even trolled the actress for using steroids to lose weight. However, once Aashika had revealed that when she was in Delhi, she stopped eating, making her lose 12 kgs.
