The rumours about Arpita's pregnancy had been doing the rounds, and it was in September 2019, Aayush had confirmed the news at the red carpet of IIFA. The duo had chosen Arpita’s bhai, Salman Khan’s birthday, i.e., December 27, 2019, to welcome their little bundle of joy. With the arrival of Ayat, Arpita and Aayush’s family picture is complete.
Amidst the COVID-19 quarantine, every celeb is making most of their family time which they often miss due to their hectic shooting schedules. On March 20, 2020, Aayush took to his Instagram handle and shared adorable pictures with his two little munchkins, Ahil and Ayat. While Ayat had looked beyond cuteness in her onesie and had twinned with her mother in white, her brother, Ahil, like a true poser was seen giving a peck on his momma’s cheeks. The couple had taken to their Instagram handle to announce the baby's arrival and had also revealed the name of their little girl. Along with it, Aayush had written, "We’ve been blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Thank you so much for all the love and blessings for Ayat Sharma." On the other hand, Arpita had captioned it as "Welcoming our daughter into the world. Grateful & Overjoyed."
Arpita had chosen her brother, Salman Khan’s birthday i.e., December 27, 2019, to welcome her little bundle of joy as it was her birthday gift for her brother. In an interaction with the Hindustan Times, Aayush had shared that Ayat was a gift to Salman. He had said, "The due date was last week of December or first week of January. When we told this to everyone, Bhai (as Salman is lovingly called) was excited and said ‘give me a gift’. So, it was a conscious decision to bring Ayat into this world on that day. It is a very good omen to have her on Bhai’s birthday... Also, it saves me from giving multiple parties! Arpita has a habit of throwing lavish parties, so I was anyway thinking how much I’ve got to earn to celebrate hers, mine, Ahil’s (three-year-old son) and Ayat’s birthdays. Now, we all can go to the farmhouse, where on one side, we can celebrate Bhai’s birthday and the other side can be booked for the kid’s party."
