Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are over the moon as they are all set to embrace parenthood for the first time in their lives. The lovebirds are enjoying their new journey to its fullest. For the unversed, Rubina and Abhinav exchanged vows on June 21, 2018, in a dreamy and intimate wedding ceremony. And finally, after five years of marital bliss, the much-in-love couple announced their "good news". Now, the soon-to-be father, Abhinav opened up about embarking on a new journey soon.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Abhinav Shukla opened up about his wife, Rubina Dilaik's pregnancy and mentioned that he was mentally prepared for it. Talking more about embracing fatherhood soon, the actor mentioned that he is looking forward to sleepless nights. Abhinav also stated that he loves spending time with kids, and they are the most important part of one's life. In his words:
"I was already mentally prepared for it. It is a fun journey, and I am looking forward to sleepless nights. I have followed the journey of my nephew and niece as my brother has two kids. I love spending time with them, and I thought I should have my own. It is the best part of you and your future life."

Abhinav further mentioned that he would be a hands-on father. The actor also talked about sharing equal responsibilities with his wifey, Rubina and stated that they do 50-50 of every work. Elaborating more about it, Abhinav said:
"I am already a hands-on husband, so I will be a hands-on father soon. There are times when I cook and do the dishes, especially when the help is not there. We have this equality of work thing. It has never happened till date that she asked me to do something, and I didn’t do it. We automatically do 50-50 of every work."
On September 28, 2023, Abhinav Shukla answered the questions asked by his fans. During the session, one internet user asked Abhinav why he did not post many pictures with his wife, Rubina. Answering the same, the actor gave a beautiful reply and mentioned that his support for his wifey starts at home. In his words:
"My support for her starts at home, at basic ground level ..there is so much i do and it is all sacred that i cant put it public domain. Its for me and her to understand and relish. That how it will be, love and care is not meant to be flashed much on social media."

For the unversed, it was on September 16, 2023, when Rubina and Abhinav announced their pregnancy. Taking to their respective IG handles, the lovebirds shared some adorable pictures in a collaborative post. In the pictures, Rubina and Abhinav could be seen posing together on a yacht. Moreover, the actress looked beautiful as she flaunted her baby bump in an all-black outfit, which she teamed with a striped cardigan. On the other hand, Abhinav looked dapper in a white hoodie paired with jeans.
