'Pani' Actress Abhinaya Ties Knot With Her Childhood Love, Vegesana Karthik After 15 Years Of Dating

Abhinaya, a predominant actress in the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam industry, got married to her childhood friend and longtime boyfriend, Vegesana Karthik, on April 16, 2025. The couple shared a beautiful bond for 15 years. Merely two months ago, the actress officially announced her long-time relationship with Vegesana. Several pictures and videos of the couple’s dreamy wedding are going viral on social media.

Finally, wedding bells rang for Abhinaya, and the actress got married to her childhood friend, Vegesana Karthik. The couple exchanged vows in a traditional marriage ceremony in Hyderabad. On the wedding day, Abinaya wore a red-hued Kanchipuram silk saree and paired it up with a matching half-quarter sleeve blouse. On the other hand, Vegesana wore an ivory-hued kurta and paired it up with a matching dhoti.

Just like Abhinaya and Vegesana’s dreamy wedding, their pre-wedding was filled with joy. The actress took to her Instagram handle and shared some glimpses of their mehendi rituals. Abhinaya was dressed up in a vibrant purple-hued lehenga, and Vegesana donned a pastel-hued kurta pyjama. One of the pictures had the actress flaunting her intricate mehendi design and posing cutely with her soon-to-be husband, Vegesana Karthik.

In February 2025, the actress broke her silence and confessed that she had been in a long-term relationship with her childhood friend, Vegesana Karthik. In a candid interview wth Galatta, she revealed that she has been dating Vegesana for 15 years. Addressing her special bond with Vegesana, she said:

"I am currently in a relationship with my childhood friend. We’ve shared a beautiful bond for 15 years. He is someone with whom I can discuss anything openly, without any fear of judgment."

Merely a month after her official announcement of dating Vegesana for 15 years, the actress announced her engagement on social media. On March 9, 2025, the actress shared a picture of her and Vegesana’s hands and captioned it as:

“Ring the bells, count the blessings—forever starts today!”

Later, on March 29, 2025, the actress revealed the face of her fiancé. The couple posed for the camera, standing at a temple. Abhinaya was dolled up in a silver-hued silk saree. The actress shared two pictures, one of which showed them posing for the camera, and the other one was captured from behind with the couple ringing the temple bell. The actress captioned the post as:

“Engaged on 9th March 25.. The easiest yessss”
