The rumours about Abhishek Bachchan joining politics has grabbed a lot of attention recently. It all started when some of the workers of the Samajwadi party conducted a survey in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, so as to analyse the popularity of Abhishek in the area, and check if he becomes a suitable candidate to represent the city in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. However, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama, a source close to the actor remarked that there was absolutely no possibility of Abhishek joining politics. The source further conveyed Abhishek’s amused reaction to such a buzz. It mentioned:
“Abhishek loves acting wholeheartedly and is deeply committed to his profession. The rumours about him entering politics have left him amused, as he has never expressed any desire to engage in political pursuits. Acting is his passion, and it’s highly unlikely he would seek anything beyond that.”

In his personal life, Abhishek Bachchan is happily married to Aishwarya Rai and the duo is proud parents to their baby girl, Aaradhya. The star-kid often accompanies her parents in various public appearances, and surely, she wins hearts with her gentle manners and well behaviour. Speaking on the same lines, Abhishek, in one of his recent interviews with ETimes heaped praises on Aaradhya for seamlessly adjusting to the showbiz world. Revealing how his wife, Aishwarya takes away all the credit for it, Abhishek said:
“Thankfully, her mother has seamlessly eased her into this world. I think it was very important and Aishwarya handled it beautifully that it wasn't made into a big deal for her that both her grandparents are from the film world and both your parents are from a film world. We didn't make it into a 'big thing'. It was very normal."
Being celebrity in the public eye, Abhishek Bachchan has frequently been targeted by baseless rumours and nasty criticism, which often takes a toll on the actor. For instance, for a long time, there were rumours about trouble hitting the marital bliss of Aishwarya and Abhishek, and claiming that they may even head for a divorce. However, Abhishek once slammed shut such trolls as he gave a beautiful compliment to a picture of Aishwarya and Aaradhya, shared by a fan on Twitter.

In one of their earlier interviews with Vogue, Abhishek and Aishwarya spoke about having fights and disagreements in their marriage, like any other couple. While Aishwarya mentioned that they had fights every other day, Abhishek butted in and added that those were more like disagreements and not serious arguments and fights.
