A similar bond is shared by one of the best brother-sister duos of the entertainment industry, Abhishek Bachchan and his doting sister, Shweta Bachchan Nanda. No matter how far they are from each other because of their respective work, their social media handles are always filled with each other’s pictures and heartfelt notes. Well, on the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan, all the sisters of Bollywood actor, Abhishek Bachchan are a little bit sad because their brother is currently at Nanavati Hospital under COVID-19 treatment. On August 3, 2020, Bollywood actor, Abhishek Bachchan took to his Instagram handle and posted a monochrome picture from his childhood that features all his sisters and him. In the picture, we can see all the kids sitting on the floor and having a meal together. Along with this beautiful childhood picture, Abhishek wrote a caption, and it can be read as “Happy Rakhi to the best sisters. I love you all. Please don’t kill me for posting this photo. @shwetabachchan @nainabachchan @namritabachchan Nilima.” The actor posted this picture after his sister, Shweta Bachchan Nanda posted a picture of him holding an umbrella alongside her. The doting sister also wrote a small note for him, and it can be read as “Couldn’t have asked for a better brother, or devoted sidekick, love you - (Been soo long I’m even missing your lectures) Get well, Get back home!” Take a look.

Well, on last year’s Raksha Bandhan too, Abhishek had taken to his Instagram handle and had brought their childhood back to wish his dear sister, Shweta on the auspicious festival. Posting a picture in which they had cuddled in their father’s arms, and the little one tries to take his big sister’s doll, Abhishek had captioned it, “Been picking on her since 1976! Happy Rakhi @shwetabachchan Love you. #brothersandsisters.” To which, Shweta had replied, “Pudding. love you G. On March 17, 2019, when Shweta had turned 45, her brother, Abhishek had wished his sister on her birthday. Flipping through their childhood pictures, Abhishek had found a ‘gem of a photo’ with Shweta, wherein the brother-sister duo could be seen guzzling ice-cream.
