Abhishek Bachchan's doting mother, Jaya Bachchan is loved for her acting skills and dedication towards her family. However, now the veteran actress has made a strict image of herself in the public domain. Every now and then, she is spotted scolding the paps for clicking her pictures or intruding into her privacy. But Abhishek, in a recent interview, claimed that Jaya has an entirely different attitude in her home. Not only that, Abhishek also revealed to whom his daughter, Aaradhya used to run when she used to get into some trouble.
In an interview with Zoom Entertainment, Abhishek Bachchan was asked about his mother, Jaya Bachchan's viral videos, featuring her getting irritated while interacting with the paparazzi. To this, the doting son immediately mentioned that he has not seen them. In addition, the actor mentioned that in contrary to public perception, his mother has a very sweet and lovely attitude. He mentioned that Jaya is filled with love and emotion, and said:
“Contrary to public opinion, my mother is not strict. She’s the one you go running to when you’re hurt as a kid. She’s particular, but my mom… See, for me, my father means what he does to me. In that father-son dynamic, any son will very reluctantly admit that their hero is their father and they want to be like their father. But your mother is ‘maa’, and I’ve always said that the word ‘maa’ encapsulates pure love.”

He mentioned how Big B used to work extremely hard and was mostly absent in his childhood. However, Jaya never let her kids fill the absence of their father and was always beside them. He added:
“When I was a child, my father unfortunately was hardly around, because he was so busy working. There were weeks on end where we wouldn’t see him, but he was in the next room. He’d come back from shooting after we’d gone to sleep, and he used to leave before we woke up. That’s how hard they used to work. And the person who never allowed me and my sister to feel that void was my mother, and that can only be done through love."
