It was back in 2010 when, during an interview with Vogue India for their July 2010 edition, both Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were asked about the frequency of their fights. To this, Aishwarya said 'every day'. However, it was Abhishek Bachchan's reply that won hearts. The actor said that what mainly happens between them are not fights, but rather, they are more like disagreements, and they are healthy. Abhishek could be quoted as saying:
"But they’re more like disagreements, not fights. They’re not serious, they’re healthy. It’d be really boring otherwise.”
Later, Abhishek Bachchan revealed that it's him only who comes to make up after he and Aishwarya fight. He also added that he and Aishwarya have a rule that they do not sleep on a fight. The actor also said that the reason why most men say sorry and give in is that they are sleepy. Abhishek also said that women are a superior race and they are always right. Talking more about the same, Abhishek said:
"Me! Me. Women don’t make up! But we have a rule—we don’t sleep on a fight. And in defence of all men, I want to tell you, half the time the reason we give in and say sorry is because we’re just so sleepy and want to go to bed! Besides, women are the superior race, and they’re always right. The sooner men accept that, the better. It doesn’t matter what you say, even if you have concrete proof, in their world, it’s futile, it makes no sense."
