Abhishek Bachchan is a supremely talented actor in Bollywood. The actor never shies away from winning hearts with his handsomeness and unparalleled acting chops. For the unversed, Abhishek is all set to appear on the silver screens after a long period of time with R Balki's movie, Ghoomer. The movie will hit the theatres on August 18, 2023. In his personal life, Abhishek is the son of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. And the handsome actor is married to Aishwarya Rai. The duo is blessed with a baby girl, Aaradhya Bachchan. Moreover, the Bachchan clan is the perfect example of a happy family.
Apart from being two successful faces in the Hindi film industry Aishwarya and Abhishek choose to live with their parents, which is pretty praiseworthy. Moreover, Abhishek recently talked about the reason for the same. Abhishek recently appeared in Raj Shamani’s podcast. To this, the actor gave an adorable reply which won millions of hearts. Abhishek stated that he just cannot think about not living with his parents, especially at the age his parents are in. The Ghoomer actor shared that his father is 85 and his mom is 75 years old, and although they are very active and independent, they also need care. Abhishek added that when we are not able to take care of ourselves, our parents take care of us, so we should do the same too. Abhishek mentioned:
"I get it. Society, culture, values, everything changes and adapts. In today’s fast-paced life, if you’re living in a city like Mumbai, you have very little time for family. I cannot think of not living with my parents, especially at the age at which they are now. My father’s 81, my mother’s 75. You want to be around them, you want to take care of them, if you can. Both my parents are thankfully very active and independent. But still, they’ve taken care of you when you weren’t able to take care of yourself, so you need to be around for them as well."
Abhishek Bachchan also talked about the silent sacrifices that the parents made for their babies. He mentioned that although it is possible that they do not get to meet each other for one week or over because everyone is extremely busy with their career, at the end of the day, what matters for parents is to know that their children are living under the same roof. Talking along the same line, Abhishek shared:
"I like that you have that one meal where everyone sits and talks… I’m so lucky that even at the age of 47, I get to enjoy both my parents."

Abhishek Bachchan's words about living with his parents somewhat took us down the memory lane when Aishwarya Rai gave a similar kind of sassy reply when asked about living with parents. In 2005, Aishwarya appeared on Letterman’s show. During the interview, she was asked if she lives with her parents and if it is normal for Indian adults to live with their mom and dad, even in their adulthood. To this, Aishwarya gave a heart-winning reply. The beautiful actress mentioned that it's fine to live with parents in India because it's also common for Indians not to make appointments to meet with their parents.
Well, Abhishek's reply actually echoed his wifey's words. What do you think? Let us know!
