Abhishek Kumar grabbed a lot of spotlight ever since he participated in the popular reality show, Bigg Boss 17. The actor impressed everyone with his game strategy and strong opinions. Moreover, his frequent fights with his fellow contestants often hit the headlines, since Abhishek was seen getting aggressive on many instances. Moreover, he withstood the tough competition of the reality show till the very end, and emerged as the first runner-up, while Munawar Faruqui lifted the coveted trophy.
In a recent interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Abhishek Kumar retrospected his journey in Bigg Boss 17 and reacted to losing the final trophy to Munawar Faruqui. The actor mentioned that although he joined the show in order to win, nevertheless, he feels that there could’ve been no one more deserving than Munawar to win the show. He even added that if someone else would’ve win the show, he would definitely be hurt. Sharing his emotions, Abhishek said:
“Ji, ji obviously laga. Kyunki main jeetne ke liye hi gaya tha aur nahi jeet te ho toh naraaz, thoda sa roothte ho. Par jaise maine humesha kaha hai ki Munawar ke alawa koi aur jeet ta toh mujhe bohot bura lagta. Wo jeeta.”

Moving further in the conversation, Abhishek Kumar proudly revealed that after the end of the show, the amount of love and adulation which he has got from his fans and followers has definitely made him realise that he is the true winner of the show, no matter whether he has taken the coveted trophy home or not. In his words:
“Jab main show se bahar aaya, aap sabse mila, maine audience ke reviews jaane, asli winner, asli winner, hero kumar, yeh sab sunke aur itna pyaar dekhke merek itna sa bhi wo nahi hai ki main haara hoon. Main toh jeeta hoon.”

Previously, an anonymous internet user posted an unseen clip of Abhishek Kumar, right after the finale of Bigg Boss 17. In the clip, the actor could be seen enjoying a small celebration held in his home for his return from the show. However, Abhishek could be seen slightly dissatisfied on the results of the show, as he seemingly hinted the finale polls being rigged. He remarked that until the last moment, it was he who was supposed to win, but suddenly everything was made to be changed on the day of the finale.

For the unversed, Abhishek joined Bigg Boss 17 along with his ex-girlfriend, Isha Malviya. Since the two ended their relationship on a bitter note, traces of the same was found frequently during their stint in the reality show, as they were at constant loggerheads with one another. In fact, their fights would escalate to such extent that they would reveal ugly secrets about one another on th national television. Previously, in an interaction with ETimes TV, Abhishek talked about how the chapter of Isha Malviya was now over for him and said:
“I was ready to close the chapter of Isha Malviya in my life. When Bigg Boss told Munawar and me to come out of the house by switching off the light, I decided that moment itself to leave everything there and forget Isha and the entire topic. I don’t want to get distracted now and want to move ahead in life and career. I don’t want to talk about anything related to her and just want to focus on good things."
