Son of superstars, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek had made his Bollywood debut in 2000 with JP Dutta’s war film, Refugee. With movies like Yuva, Sarkar, and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, he is the only actor after Dilip Kumar to have won three Filmfare awards consecutively. Abhishek has always been the victim of trolls for his professional as well as personal life. But the way he handles it is commendable and with his witty replies, he is one of the coolest celebrities on social media. There has always been debates about how his father, Amitabh Bachchan was the reason for his sustenance in Bollywood. But now, in a recent interview, he opened up about the same.
In an interview with the IANS, Abhishek Bachchan revealed how his father, Amitabh Bachchan did not produce any of his film for him. He also shared that on the contrary, it was him, who had produced R Balki’s Paa, starring his father in the main lead and him in the supporting role. Talking about the same, he stated, “The fact is he has never picked up the phone on anyone. He has never made a film for me. On the contrary, I have produced a film for him, called Paa.”
In July, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were admitted at the Nanavati hospital, after being tested positive for COVID-19. When Abhishek had updated his fans about his and his father’s health via his Twiter handle, one of the users had trolled Abhishek as she had asked him, ““Your father admitted in hospital... Ab kiske bharose baith ke khaoge?” But Abhishek, being his coolest celeb, had given a savage reply and had written, “Filhaal toh let ke kha rahe hain dono ek sath hospital mein” in Hindi. Soon, the user had replied saying, “Get well soon sir... Har kisi ki kismat me let ke khana kaha...” To which, Abhishek had responded, “I pray that you are never in a situation like ours and that you remain safe and healthy. Thank you for your wishes, ma’am.” (Also Read: Amrita Rao And RJ Anmol Share The First-Ever Glimpse Of Their Baby Boy, Reveal His Name [Picture])

During the promotions of Breathe: Into The Shadows, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Abhishek Bachchan was asked what it feels like being the son of famous parents, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. He had retorted, “I’ve never thought about it. I’m the son of my father. At home, he’s that, he has never wanted it to be anything else, my mother never allowed it to be anything else. I’m the son of my father, I’m a colleague of a legend. That’s the way I look at it. He never brings his work home, never imposes, what I believe as a fan rightly should be, the fact he’s a living legend of cinema. At home, he’s my friend, somebody I can sit with, watch sports or movies, discuss politics and current affairs. I think it’s very important to understand that dynamic, which I understand is very difficult to comprehend when you’re not living that and viewing it as a third person. I’ve never looked upon it adversely. My love and respect for my parents are far too big for me to ever think to disrespect that emotion by thinking about it adversely.” (Also Read: Dipika Kakar And Shoaib Ibrahim Go For A Mini-Getaway To Goa, Share Romantic Pictures And Video)
