Considering how well the nation is dealing with coronavirus now, many producers actors have resumed working with all safety precautions. However, a few artists still avoid making an onscreen presence due to the fear of COVID-19.
The Bollywood actress, Aruna Irani is amongst the Indian celebrities who have been staying away from the camera since the pandemic began. Aruna recently spoke about her absence from the screen. She said that her age is the main reason behind it, and she hesitates to return to the sets.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, the acclaimed actress, Aruna talked about being away from the sets for so long and said, “It will take time for us to bounce back to normal and get back on the sets. Considering my age, I feel this is not the right time to step out and work.” She continued saying, “Sometimes, I feel like I should start working again but fear for life keeps me away from taking up any new projects.”

The actress mentioned that her family is also pressuring her to retire from the entertainment industry as she added, “I even get pressured by my family members to stop working and I completely agree with them because they care for me. They feel I have done a lot of work so far and now it's time for me to take a breather, which even I feel is right. But at times, I feel bored sitting at home.”

Even though Aruna Irani has received both her doses of vaccines, she still feels that the work environment will not be entirely secure for her, and she might get infected with the virus. The actress last appeared in the show, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai on Sony TV.
Apart from this, Aruna Irani has been an excellent actress. She has starred in many box office hit movies and shows, some of which include Safar, Andaz, Caravan, Bobby, Dil to Pagal Hai, Gopi Kishan, Beta, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and many more.
On the work front, Aruna Irani hasn't signed anything until the end of this year.
