After rising in fame with her debut show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Smriti Irani had went ahead to shine bright with her mythological portrayal of Sita in the 2001 rendition of Ramayan directed by B.R. Chopra and Ravi Chopra. She was paired opposite Nitish Bhardwaj, who portrayed the character of Ram.
Choti Bahu fame, Rubina Dilaik had played the role of Sita during a short stint in the mythological show, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. She looked every bit radiant with a very simplistic outfit and makeup, which increased the TRP of the show quite significantly. For the unversed, the show already featured Mohit Raina, Mouni Roy and Sonarika Bhadoria in titular roles.
Popular actress, Neha Sargam rose to fame with the portrayal of Devi Sita in the show, Ramayan that aired on the channel, Zee TV from 2011-2012. Her subtle beauty and innocent look enhanced her role. She was paired opposite actor, Gagan Sharma, who portrayed Lord Ram.

Beautiful actress, Madirakshi Mundle had won hearts with her gorgeous portrayal of Devi Sita in the popular show, Siya Ke Ram, which had aired from 2015 to 2016. The show primarily dealt with a different take on the epic, as retrospected from Goddess Sita herself. Popular actor, Ashish Sharma was paired opposite her in the role of Lord Ram.
Widely hailed for her portrayal of Radha-Rani, Shivya Pathania had challenged her acting skills further, by portraying Sita in the TV show, Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush. The show had gained massive momentum and had aired from 2019-2020. She was teamed with actor, Himanshu Soni, who played Lord Ram.
Mallika Singh had risen to household fame with her pretty portrayals of Radha in the show, RadhaKrishn that aired in Star Bharat. However, during one particular stint in the plot of the show, she had to portray the role of Sita as well, which she did phenomenally well.
One of the most widely hailed portrayal of Sita ever witnessed in Indian television has to be the one done by Debina Bonnerjee in the show, Ramayan directed by Anand Sagar and produced by Prem Sagar. It was an original reboot of the 1987 version of the same show. She was paired opposite actor, Gurmeet Choudhary who not only played the character of Ram but also in real-life, went on to become her husband.
