Splitsvilla fame, Maera Mishra had confirmed in an interview that she and Adhyayan had broken up in November last year and that she is now reluctant to date anyone from the showbiz. Adhyayan Suman took to his IG stories and posted a statement regarding his breakup with Maera Mishra, which can be read as "Hello, all I would like to say at this stage is that I have great respect for all women, right from my mother to sister to close friends and even more so for the ones that I have shared fond memories with. My upbringing does not allow me to wash dirty linen in public and I want to learn from my past mistakes and not say anything to anyone at this stage. My focus is my work which is in the public domain and I look forward to releasing my new song very soon. I request you to respect the privacy of me and my family as well.”
In an interview with The Times of India, Maera Mishra had confirmed her split with Adhyayan Suman. Talking about what went wrong between the two, Maera had said, "I was very serious about this relationship and thought that this one was for keeps, but it wasn't meant to be. Things failed to work out between us. I fell in love with a different man. Once I started living with him, I realised that he was quite different from what I had expected. There was also a communication gap. We barely spoke to each other for almost two months as I got busy with the shoot of my TV show and he was shooting for his project. All I want to say at this point is that I am now averse to dating anyone associated with the industry." Talking about Adhyayan Suman and Maera Mishra's relationship, the couple was quite vocal about their love for each other. In an interview with the Bombay Times, Maera had revealed how she had fallen in love with Adhyayan and had said, "I had a huge crush on him when I watched him in Raaz — The Mystery Continues. I interacted with him on social media and met him soon after. We hit it off instantly and became good friends. I actually tried to play cupid between him and a friend, but gave up soon. He is such a nice guy that I wanted to keep him for me (laughs!). He respects women and is grounded."
She had further mentioned how their bond was growing strong and had added, "We share a great bond and are going with the flow. Yes, I like him, but I don't want to give our relationship a tag, yet. Any girl would want a friend like him. I would say that our relationship is beyond definitions. We will stand by each other in every situation. So, if you call it love, then yes, I do love him. Having said that, we are still trying to get to know each other and I want to know him well before I go all out with it. Also, I want the focus to be on my work at the moment."
