Her role as 'Bibbojaan' carved a special space in the hearts of the audience. However, the actress recently opened up about how it made her feel when some clips of hers from a famous film were cut, but still, she never stopped doing cameos for a specific reason.

The actress was asked about her short yet remarkable role in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar. To this, Aditi mentioned that when she did Rockstar, she was new in the industry, and she felt bad about the fact that her role was cut. The actress added that she trusted the intentions behind the same, and she doesn't feel that she had made any wrong decision as people still remember her for her small role in that film. Talking more about the same, Aditi mentioned:
"When I did Rockstar, I was really new and you know your role gets cut, subsequently at that particular experience I had of what I imagined of the role and what I saw on paper it did get cut, so I felt bad at that time. Going further in the interview, Aditi Rao Hydari shared that even after what had happened, she continued to feel like a 5-year-old girl and had done a whole lot of cameos and short roles. Sharing why she opted to do the same, Aditi mentioned that as an artist, she should trust the directors, and be it a 20-minute role in a two-hour movie, she is ready to do the same, as she feels if celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman can be remembered for even their five minutes role, she can also do the same. Aditi mentioned:
"And even after that I continued to think like a 5 year old, I still have gone and done cameos not thinking that it is just 20 minutes in a two hour film, because I know this part is complete and I have that trust in the director and for whatever reasons they cut the role, that's on them and not me, this is how I think. I feel like if people like Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, if they can work for 5 to 20 minutes in full length films and get remembered for that, then why can't we do it."
Aditi Rao Hydari left everyone in awe of her acting skills in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much-talked-about debut web series.
