Aditi Rao Hydari has won hearts with so many of her royal character portrayals in period drama films. One of her most iconic roles in this frame has been 'Mehrunissa' in Padmaavat and recently, 'Anarkali' in the web series, Taj-Divided By Blood. Interestingly, she is part of a royal family in real life as well, which makes it quite clear how she suitably sits well in such characters. Well then, let us trace her royal family line.

For the unversed, Aditi has her family roots in Hyderabad. To begin with, Aditi’s great-grandfather, Akbar Hydari, was the prime minister of the erstwhile established Hyderabad state from 1869 to 1941. On the other hand, her uncle was the prior Governor of Assam. Next, her mother, Vidya Rao, is a Hindustani classical singer specialising in thumri and dadra. However, it is through her maternal grandfather that Aditi traces her royal roots. Her maternal great-grandfather, J. Rameshwar Rao, was the Raja of Wanapathy and a primary nobleman to the royal court of the Nizam in Hyderabad.
Another interesting fact about Aditi’s life is that she shares a special connection with Aamir Khan’s ex-wife, Kiran Rao. Well, Aditi’s maternal great-grandfather, J. Rameshwar Rao, who instead was Kiran's paternal grandfather. Therefore, Aditi and Kiran are first cousins and sisters. To date, the duo has kept their bond intact and often sneaks in moments to meet each other.

One of the other lesser-known facts about Aditi's life is that she has a love for performing arts and has been trained in the Bharatnatyam form of classical dance. She learnt the dance form at the age of six, and later on became the disciple of Bharatnatyam maestro, Leela Samson. The stage has been her home through the dance, something which gradually instilled in her the love for acting and drama.

For the many unversed, Aditi Rao Hydari was previously married to actor, Satyadeep Mishra. The first reports of their marriage came up from the years 2004 and 2009, but the actress always denied it gracefully. However, it was much later, in 2013, when Aditi opened up on the same for the first time and revealed that she and Satyadeep were already divorced by then. Moreover, she also revealed that she had met her ex-husband when she was 17 years old and married him when she was 21. Since she was an aspiring actress, the couple had kept their marriage a secret for so long.
After many years of an ill-fate in marriage and love, Aditi has reportedly found love again with Rang De Basanti fame, Siddharth. While the exact manner of their meeting is unknown, the couple prefers to keep their relationship under wraps despite the continuous media curiosity. However, they have often been spotted sharing precious moments, and the duo also never shies away from sharing pictures of one another on their social media platforms.
