Aditi Rao Hydari Recalls The Exact Moment She Decided To Marry Siddharth, 'Didn't Took A Second...'

Aditi Rao Hydari reveals she took no time to say 'yes' to marrying Siddharth 

Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth are among the leading stars in South Indian films, and fans were delighted when the reel-life couple began dating in real life. The actress recently graced the latest episode of Farah Khan's YouTube channel and recalled her love story with her actor-husband. During the conversation, Farah asked Aditi about the exact moment she decided to marry Siddharth. In her response, Aditi said:

"Oh my god, it did not even take a second... He's a very entertaining human being and a very good human being... There is nothing artificial in him... What you see is what you get, and (he's) so loving."

The Heeramandi actress added that one quality she likes the most about Siddharth is his affection towards the people close to her. Aditi explained that if her husband knows that somebody is close to her and an important part of her life, he will bring those people together; that is how she grew up surrounded by loving people. Consequently, she loves this about him. Aditi also mentioned that he is good at singing, dancing, and acting. Farah also highlighted that Aditi had a two-night celebration for her wedding, but the actress shared: 

"I made it one night. I had to go for the Sikandar Zohra Jabeen ka shoot."

Aditi Rao Hydari shared how Siddharth proposed to her at her nani's school 

Aditi Rao Hydari announced their engagement through their Instagram handle in 2024. Later, during an interview with Vogue India, the diva shared that they used to joke about Siddharth proposing to her, and he used to go down on his knees but then tied his shoelaces to tease her for a year. One day, he asked her to take him to her nani's school in Hyderabad, which was close to her heart and proposed to her there. Recalling the incident, she said:

"He got down on his knee, and I asked him, 'Now what have you lost? Whose shoelaces are open?' He kept saying, 'Addu, listen to me'. And then he proposed. He said he wanted to bring me to my favourite childhood place, one with my grandmother's blessings."

Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth first tied the knot in a private traditional South Indian ceremony at a 400-year-old Sri Ranganayakaswamy temple in Wanaparthy, Telangana, on September 16, 2024. Later, the couple tied the knot per her Hindu traditions at Alila Fort Bishangarh in Rajasthan, which reminded her of her grandparent's home.
