However, just a day before, Aditya's close friend, Ranbir Kapoor, sort of hinted about the former's dating life and said he likes a girl whose name starts with the letter 'A'. There is no doubt that it sparked the relationship rumours between Ananya and Aditya. Soon after, the duo was papped as they were out for dinner. A paparazzo handle shared an IG video featuring Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapoor. In the video, we can first see Anaya exiting a restaurant. The actress looked elegant as she opted for a blue ribbed bodycon dress. The dress featured a high-neck style and a cut at the back, which made it look more sultry. Ananya opted for a no-makeup look and kept her hair in a low messy bun. Ananya ditched jewellery and teamed her dress with golden hop earrings, white slippers, and a classy checked sling bag. In the video, we can see the actress posing for the paps, looking happy.

Soon after Ananya left, her alleged boyfriend, Aditya Roy Kapur was seen exiting the same restaurant. The actor looked dapper in a black shirt. He paired his shirt with matching trousers. The actor also looked delightful while posing for the paps.

When Ranbir Kapoor said Aditya Roy Kapur likes a girl whose name starts with the letter 'A'

Ranbir Kapoor appeared in an interview for Netflix, Awkward Interview with the influencer, Aishwarya Mohanraj on May 15, 2023. The actor graced the show to promote his film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar's release on OTT. However, during the conversation, Ranbir got candid and spilt the beans about his close friend, Aditya Roya Kapur's dating life. During the interview, Ranbir called Aditya to confirm if the latter was married to Aishwarya Mohanraj for 45 minutes in the past, as said by the latter. Soon after that, Aishwarya asked Ranbir to invite her to his New Year party since Aditya would be there. Ranbir said he is not sure if Aditya would want to be around Aishwarya since the former already likes a girl whose name starts with the letter 'A'. Ranbir could be heard saying:

"He's always there. I don’t know if he wants to be around you. He was just being polite with you. I know he likes a girl starting with the letter A."
