Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Zaheer Iqbal, on June 23, 2024, in a civil ceremony that took place at the actress’ home. Prior to the intimate wedding of the couple, there were reports in the media stating that Sonakshi’s parents and brothers were not happy with her marriage. However, these rumours were quashed when Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha happily graced their daughter’s wedding ceremony. But her brothers, Luv and Kussh, were not seen in any of the wedding pictures, seemingly giving the celebrations a miss.
Now, after Luv confirmed not attending his sister’s wedding, Shatrughan Sinha has apparently reacted to it. The actor-turned-politician took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to thank everyone who sent their blessings and warm congratulatory messages for the newlywed couple, Sonakshi and Zaheer. Calling them ‘made for each other’ couple, Shatrughan Sinha said:

Earlier, Sonakshi’s brother, Luv, shared why he opted out of the actress’ wedding bash. Resharing an article by a media outlet, Luv mentioned that he doesn’t like to associate with a certain segment of people. Further, in his note, he stated that he was glad that a media member did their proper research before putting out creative stories. In his words:
“The reasons are very clear as to why I didn’t attend, and would not associate with some people no matter what. I’m glad a member of the media did their research instead of relying on creative stories being put out by a PR team.”
Just days after Sonakshi’s wedding, Shatrughan Sinha was admitted to the hospital. According to a report by Times Now, the veteran actor had tripped in his dining hall and hurt his rib region on June 25, 2024. The incident unfolded when the veteran actor got up from his sofa, which was placed in the dining room, and tripped over a carpet. The family called for medical help, and Shatrughan Sinha even rested for a day. However, the pain in his rib region did not subside. Hence, their doctor advised them to visit the hospital for tests to determine if there had been any serious internal injury. Shatrughan Sinha has undergone all the tests, and the results show that he does not have any injuries.

On July 1, Shatrughan Sinha’s son, Luv, took to his X account to clarify that his father was not undergoing any surgery. He mentioned that people should not believe in unverified news. Further, he shared that Shatrughan Sinha was taken to the hospital for a regular check-up. In his words:
“In regard to my father’s health I’d like to clarify that there was no surgical procedure, and one shouldn’t believe unverified news. We took my father to the hospital for his annual checkup, and because he had a strong fever. Thank you to everyone who has been concerned.”
