Not only is her character much loved by audiences, but her chemistry with her co-star, Taaruk Raina has fans touting them as the best pairing in the show. Ahsaas has certainly come a long way since her debut as a child artist playing boy roles. Recently, the actress reflected on her career trajectory and shared some interesting anecdotes about her child actress days.

Ahsaas Channa's mother stopped her from playing boy roles so it wouldn't 'mess' with her head

Ahsaas Channa first won hearts when she played boy roles in films such as Vaastu Shastra, My Friend Ganesha, and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. However, her mother stopped her from playing such roles when she was at the cusp of puberty. Revealing that her mom feared playing a boy on-screen would 'mess' with her head, Ahsaas told the Hindustan Times:

"I was always very aware of the fact that I am a girl. I was told multiple times that you are just acting and this is just a character you are playing. I used to go to school and lived my life as Ahsaas, so I was aware that this was all just in front of the camera. But still, because I was getting older and about to get into my teens soon, my mother did not want to mess with my head during puberty. It was the perfect time for me to stop doing those roles, take a break and return."

Ahsaas Channa reveals that she is very insecure and feels the love she is receiving will 'go away'

While in conversation with the Hindustan Times, Ahsaas Channa was asked about her thoughts on the love her characters and 'Vinmol' was receiving. The actress humbly dismissed thoughts of internal competition and expressed her elation at fans wanting to see more of 'Vinny' and 'Anmol.' She can be quoted as saying:

"We hoped for it and were expecting a little bit of it. When we were shooting season 3, Taaruk and I had posted a picture together. And we had the most likes and comments on that. So, we figured through that that people are waiting for #VinMol when the show comes out."

However, Ahsaas also confessed that she was a rather insecure person and felt that the appreciation she was receiving could 'go away' at any time. Talking about how her instinct was to be grateful for the love being showered on her, Ahsaas said:

"I am, in general, a very insecure person. I always feel 'this is going to go away'. Since I am that kind of a person, there is no chance of letting it all get to my head. I don't let it hardly reach me, let alone consume me. I don't take it for granted. Whenever I get a lot of love, my instinct is to be grateful about it."
