'Kal Rahenge Ya Nahi..' Sagar, Who Lost GF In AI-171 Crash Drops An Emotional Post, Demands Justice

The Ahmedabad plane crash turned out to be traumatising not only for certain families but for the entire nation. It was on June 12, 2025, when the AirIndia Boeing 787 Dreamliner faced technical issues after being in the air for only a few seconds, and within a blink, it moved forward and collapsed with the nearby B.J. Medical College Hostel. Reportedly more than 270 people had lost their lives, including 241 among 242 people on-board. Amid several glimpses, a video of a man's silent cry from a hospital went viral.

Sagar Patil, who lost his GF in the AI-171 plane crash, posted a story on his IG

The individual lost his girlfriend in the accident, and his condition left everyone feeling as if it was a personal grief. Now, his IG story has gone viral, speaking volumes about the pain he has endured. The video of the man in a red t-shirt crying silently while waiting for his 'love' was of Sagar Patil's. Apparently, Sagar is an artist, and he described himself as a model, and actor in his previous IG posts. He has 20.7K followers on his IG handle. He also has a YouTube channel, wherein he posts travel videos. Well, after his crying video made rounds on social media, it left the hearts broken. Now, he reacted to people supporting him through this testing time.

Taking to his IG handle, a while ago, Sagar Patil dropped a picture note, wherein he thanked everyone for the support and mentioned that he was not able to reply to everyone. Sagar further wrote that he doesn't have any idea what he should say, but he has been trying to heal from things that have happened to him. Sagar further asked his followers to spend as much time with their loved ones. His last line was a reality check but enough to reveal that he was in pain. He mentioned that no one knows if that person will live the next day. Such an emotional note again left people heartbroken.

Sagar Patil demanded 'justice' for his late girlfriend

Journalist, Tamal Saha shared the emotional video of Sagar Patil, which was massively circulated online. In the glimpse, he was seen crying silently while sitting at the hospital. The video showed him alone, and it was visible how much pain he was in. Later, another clip went viral wherein he was seen speaking to an influential figure. He was seen demanding justice, saying, 'Nyay milini chahiye sir, please sir, unka ma papa udhar baitha hain sir.' His voice broke, and he had tears in his eyes as he demanded justice for his late girlfriend.

Talking about the ill-fated AI-171, only one on-boarded passenger could survive the demise, who was seated in 11A, next to the emergency exit. However, a total of 279 deaths have been reported. The mortal remains of the victims were handed over to their family members, and their last rites took place. However, the glimpses of this tragic incident left everyone traumatised.
