It was on July 11, 2020, when everyone was left in shock after Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were tested positive for COVID-19 and were rushed to the hospital. A day later, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan were tested positive, and after a couple of days, the two the two were hospitalised when the former had felt breathlessness. But now, things are getting better for the Bachchan's as Aishwarya and Aaradhya have recovered from the COVID-19.
On July 27, 2020, Abhishek took to his Twitter handle and shared the news of the same. He informed his fans of the happy news and wrote, "Thank you all for your continued prayers and good wishes. Indebted forever. Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital. They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff."
For those who don't know, Health Minister, Rajesh Tope had confirmed the news of Aishwarya and Aaradhya being COVID-19 positive on his Twitter handle. His tweet could be read as "Smt.Aishwarya Rai Bacchan and Daughter Aaradhya Abhishek Bacchan have also been detected positive for Covid19. Smt. Jaya Bachhan ji is tested negative for covid19. On July 12, 2020, Abhishek had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a picture of him. Along with it, he had written, "Yesterday, both my father and I tested positive for COVID-19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. The BMC has been in touch and we are complying with them. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you."
