Aishwarya Rai Recalls Viral Corridor Moment With Daughter, Aaradhya At Cannes, '..Playing Dress Up'

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is one of the most loved actresses in the Hindi film industry. The gorgeous actress never misses a chance to win her fans' hearts with her acting skills, personality, nature, and intellect. Apart from being a gorgeous actress, Aishwarya is also a doting mom to her daughter, Aaradhya. Time and again, we have seen Aishwarya balance her personal and professional life beautifully. Aaradhya often accompanies her mom to several festivals, especially Cannes. Recently, Aishwarya arrived at the Red Sea Film Festival, where she recalled a sweet memory of herself and her daughter that eventually went viral, but was actually a sweet mom-daughter moment.

While interacting, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan revealed how Aaradhya has grown up watching the Cannes Film Festival and how she's aware of the atmosphere as well. Aishwarya then recalled a viral Cannes moment, when she and her daughter were clicked in the corridor. The actress revealed that while she was getting ready, she also wanted to make her daughter dress up, as the then-kid, Aaradhya, would have no idea why her mom was getting dressed.

Thus, the doting mom wanted to make her daughter believe they were living in a fairy-tale moment. Aishwarya said she would carry around her daughter's clothes from India as well, and make her put on the same. She said:

"It wasn't about now let's put Aaradhya in a gown because she's going to get photographed. No. For me it's a little girl, a little girl who's reading or viewing fairy tale stories, right? So it was for me the fun of being dress up because why is mama dressing up in these gowns? She's a kid. She's suddenly seeing a mother dressed in a gown with hair done. So I was like we're playing fairy tale. We're playing dress up. So I too would take the trouble to get dress made at home in India itself and pack that all in."

While Aishwarya would get ready, her daughter would live in those moments, wearing the dresses and twirling. Aishwarya said those moments were real, and she even has videos of them. Talking more about the same, Aishwarya recalled a moment when she was all ready and coming down the corridor to walk the red carpet, when her daughter grabbed her finger and walked with her.

The actress stated that it was never planned that she would be clicked with her daughter and that it would go viral; rather, it was just a mom-daughter moment, as Aaradhya held her finger tightly and twirled, and the actress didn't want to stop her daughter because she was enjoying it. Aishwarya could be quoted as saying:

"It was just one of those incidental days that she walked out with me because she was still holding my hand and I wouldn't let go obviously because she was enjoying it. You keep it real. We continued coming down and then I was like uh-oh now we're already out here and there she is and she's like mama and she's twirling. I'm like okay and then all these moments go viral whereas actually it was just mama and daughter having their real moment."

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a regular at the Cannes Film Festival, and her daughter, Aaradhya, also always accompanies her at the same. People had the idea that Aaradhya would also attend Cannes to witness the glamorous fashion spectacle, but the actress, time and again, clarified that the connection runs even deeper. Speaking to Film Companion, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan talked about the same. She was asked about the reason for bringing Aardhya with her. To this, the actress revealed that this question should be asked of her daughter, and she would be the one to answer the same.
