Bollywood actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to make her comeback with the pan-India film, Ponniyin Selvan, directed by Mani Ratnam. The actress is super busy attending press conferences to promote the film. While the actress is winning hearts with her look, not many know that she also had an 'oops' moment years ago.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is known to the world as a blue-eye beauty, Aish and whatnot. But only her family knows the real Aishwarya, who is just another normal woman trying to live her life. For the unversed, in 2007, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan tied the knot with the love of her life, Abhishek Bachchan. The couple embraced parenthood in the year 2011.

During a press conference, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's co-star, Chiyaan Vikram recalled an oops moment of the former Miss World, even before she had bagged the title. He revealed that the first time he had seen her was when she had not even gotten the title. Vikram added that she tripped over her dress and was about to fall on her face. However, she gathered her poise and was back at doing her routine. He was quoted as saying:
"The first time I saw her she hadn't even gotten the title yet, I was in the crowd. As she got in, the cloth got caught in her leg and she stumbled and I thought she's gonna fall on her face. She stumbled, she did a couple of missteps, she gathered her poise came back and did the routine whatever she was supposed to do. It struck me this person is going places. I sense that in her, the confidence, the poise, the grace."
Earlier during a press conference, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had revealed her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan's reaction to seeing her play the role of a queen. She also shared that she had visited the sets of the film, and was enthralled when Mani Ratnam gave her the opportunity to say 'action' on the film.

Shedding light on how the whole episode left a special place in the heart of her ten-year-old daughter, Aishwarya shared that she couldn't believe it. Talking about the same, Aiwarywa was quoted as saying:
"She couldn’t get over it. She told me, ‘Sir, gave me the opportunity to do this,’ and she was simply stunned and so were we. And I told her that none of us had got that opportunity, so it is one of the most cherished memory. It is really precious and she values it immensely. And I am sure that after she grows up, it will become a much-cherished memory for her"
Aishwarya's film, Ponniyin Selvan I is all set to release on September 30, 2022.
