Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan’s relationship has been one of the most buzzed topics ever in Tinseltown. While much has already been said and done, the duo post their breakup, has never for once crossed paths again. Fast forward to today, while Salman is all single at the age of 57, Aishwarya, on the other hand, lives a happy and fulfilling life with her husband, Abhishek Bachchan and their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.
Considering Aishwarya’s past with Salman, Abhishek Bachchan is rumoured to have maintained a cold relationship with the latter. They have never spoken to one another, and have never crossed their paths for even as much as common work projects. However, there was once a time when Abhishek had taken a slight dig at Salman Khan. Well, during his joint appearance with his wifey, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the chat show, Koffee With Karan in 2007, Abhishek was asked by the host, Karan Johar, to speak the one thing in mind when he said Salman Khan. To this, Abhishek, without a moment’s thought, said:
“Stop working out. Reason being because he’s known for taking off his shirt when I think he is much more than that.”

However, what was totally noticeable right at that moment was the change of expressions quite clearly visible on Aishwarya’s face, as she listened to what her husband, Abhishek had to say. She made a neutral expression as the camera panned to her face, as she seemingly did not want to answer or react to it.
In the biography of Shah Rukh Khan, written by eminent journalist, Anupama Chopra, one can find an unheard anecdote about Salman Khan’s unusual behaviour on the sets of Devdas. Well, the handsome hunk reportedly used to lay drunk on the floor of Aishwarya’s vanity, since he was still reeling with the pangs of breaking up with Aishwarya. However, the latter was on the other hand, completely decided in her mind to move on.

In one of her old interviews with Simi Garewal, Aishwarya Rai had spoken about why she never spoke up about her breakup and toxic relationship with Salman Khan in the first place. To this, she gave a direct response and mentioned:
"I think it’s quite shut out; I don’t want to get into looking at it any which way, especially on the public platform. It’s in the past, and it should be left there. I have exercised my demons."
