Bollywood actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan needs no introduction, as she is admired for her timeless beauty and acting spree worldwide. From winning the Miss World title in 1994 to becoming one of the most promising actresses in Bollywood and leaving a mark in Hollywood, the actress has achieved a lot in her life. Aishwarya broke many stereotypes when she got pregnant with her daughter, Aaradhya, at the age of 38, and gave birth via normal delivery for the first time. Even though there were some complications in her pregnancy, she even refused painkillers.
Recently, an old video of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan surfaced online, wherein she was seen talking about being the first actress to break taboos during her pregnancy. In the video, Aishwarya can be seen interacting with a journalist, who appreciated her for carrying her pregnancy so beautifully. Reacting to the same, the actress stated that she has been vocal about her pregnancy and worked through all the phases. However, Aishwarya further went on to add that she was the first actress to do that and set an example for others to follow.

Now the video is going viral on the internet, but netizens are not pleased with Aishwarya Rai's remarks. Reacting to the video, they slammed the actress for taking the credit for normalising pregnancy in Bollywood and pointed out how she used to hide during her pregnancy. The users also mentioned that before Aishwarya, many veteran actresses continued to shine on the silver screen even after their third delivery. Meanwhile, some netizens also called Aishwarya obnoxious and called her out for her 'pick me' attitude.
Earlier, during a media interaction, Amitabh Bachchan opened up about his daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and revealed that she had denied epidurals and painkillers during her delivery. Talking about the same, he shared that instead of opting for a C-section, the actress wanted to go for a normal delivery even though she faced some complications. Recalling how Aish was in acute labour for almost three hours, Big B said:
"We went there on the 14th night. The doctors had told us that the baby could arrive anytime now. On the 16th morning, she delivered the baby. This was a normal delivery even though these days people opt for C-section and other things. But Aishwarya wanted a normal delivery. She had to struggle, but I commend her that she was in acute labour for a long time, almost 2-3 hours. But she persisted and said she wanted a normal delivery. She did not use any epidural or painkiller."

There is no denying the fact that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the best mommy to her little angel, Aaradhya. Once in an interview with Film Companion, Abhishek talked about performing daddy duties with Aaradhya. However, when the actor was asked if he helps with his daughter, Aaradhya's homework, he shared that his wife, Aishwarya looks after that. Calling Aish an unbelievable mother, Abhishek said:
"No, I tried once or twice but that’s completely Aishwarya. She is an unbelievable mother for her dedication to Aaradhya. I don’t get to say that enough, but due to her dedication to our daughter, I get to go out and do what I do."
Abhishek Bachchan met Aishwarya Rai for the first time in Switzerland when he went for the recce of a film and was swooned by her beauty. Later, Abhishek and Aishwarya were chosen as leads in the film, Umrao Jaan, and love blossomed between them on the sets. After that, the duo spent quality time with each other during the shooting of Umrao Jaan, Guru and Dhoom 2, due to which they started developing feelings for one another. Finally, it was during the premiere of Guru, when Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya, and she said 'Yes'. Abhishek and Aishwarya got married on April 20, 2007, and the rest is history.
For the unversed, Aishwarya and Abhishek's daughter, Aaradhya was born on November 16, 2011.
