After leaving a strong mark with her 'sindoor bhari maang' on the first day of the Cannes, she is back for round 2. And oh boy, Aishwarya truly nailed it yet again by flaunting her curves in a sexy black body-fitted gown. And her little princess, Aaradhya Bachchan, finally accompanied her.

On May 22, 2025, Aishwarya walked the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival yet again, and she proved that she is a queen for a reason, and nobody, I repeat, nobody, can take her crown away. For Day 2, Aishwarya wore Gaurav Gupta's black body-fitted gown, featuring dual sequinned work. The actress added a touch of elegance by styling it with a beige-hued shawl.

Glamorous makeup with bold red lipstick accentuated her look. However, it was Aishwarya's hair that accentuated her look. Instead, of leaving them straight, the diva chose to style them in curls and kept them swayed on one side. On the other hand, Aaradhya looked gorgeous in a black ensemble. Aaradhya held her mother's hand as they made their way out to the venue.

On May 21, 2025, after making her fans wait for an eternity, Aishwarya arrived at the Cannes Film Festival and let her look do the talking. After facing a lot of backlash for her outfit choices, Aishwarya, this year, wore a beautiful Manish Malhotra saree. The outfit featured handwoven kadwa ivory Banarasi with golden work on the border. She styled it with a matching sheer dupatta that made her look like a queen. 

Another highlight of her look was her heirloom jewellery. Aishwarya ditched the trending emerald and diamond jewellery. Instead, she opted for red rubies. A huge choker neckpiece featuring red beads, a layered ruby neckpiece, matching cocktail flower ring on both hands completed her look. 

Aishwarya's sindoor-adorned look reminds netizens of Rekha 

Aishwarya wore a deep red-toned sindoor on her forehead for the first time at an international level. It has a lot of meaning to it. One, it could be a way of her silencing the trolls, who commented on her troubled marriage. Another could be her way of marking her solidarity with the country as a mark of Operation Sindoor. While it could be anything, fans love her look and even compare it with Rekha.

Aishwarya's long-standing association with Cannes
