However now, according to the latest report in Times Now, a source close to Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan revealed that the duo is together only for their daughter, Aaradhya. Mentioning that the couple has been facing problems for years in their marriage, the source stated that now the matter has gone out of their hands. The source can be quoted as saying:
"It is for their child that Abhishek and Aishwarya are still together. They have been having problems for years. Now matters have come to a head."

Further, in the same report, it was revealed that Aishwarya Rai has left the Bachchan house and is living separately. As per the report, the actress spends most of her time with her mother. The source close to the couple also shared that Aishwarya stays in a completely segregated space in the Bachchan house with her husband, Abhishek. As per the reports, the area where the actress lives has no contact with her in-laws.
According to the Times Now report, multiple sources revealed that Aishwarya Rai and her mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan, don't get along. As per the reports, the duo hasn't talked with each other in the past few years. Moreover, the saas-bahu jodi don't even acknowledge each other's presence. The report mentioned that Abhishek has been caught in between Aishwarya and her in-laws' dispute.
As per the report, ever since Shweta Bachchan permanently moved into the Bachchan house, problems between Aishwarya and her in-laws have intensified. However, the source also added that it is very unlikely that Abhishek and Aishwarya will file for divorce in the near future as neither the actress nor the Bachchan family want to go through this scandal. However, Aishwarya has been keeping a safe distance from her in-laws.
