Aishwarya Revealed Being Pampered On A Film Set In The Initial Years Of Career, 'Was Quite The Baby'

Aishwarya Rai is one of the most phenomenal actresses in the Hindi film industry, who, over the years won hearts with her beauty and acting mettle. Aishwarya began her career with Tamil films like Jeans and Iruvar, and both of the films turned out to be commercial success at the box office. Aishwarya has always worked with grace and brilliance, and the results can be seen in the movies that she has done. In an old interview, Aishwarya talked about her early career days in the Tamil film industry, when she was babied on a film set.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan once talked about being pampered on the sets of Jeans

In an interview with Leheran TV, Aishwarya Rai was asked whether she was pampered on any of her film's sets. To this, the actress agreed that she was actually pampered on the sets of her second Tamil film, Jeans. The actress talked about the love and support she got on the film set, and shared that what was most beautiful was that she was not made feel to be out of the world or alien.

Aishwarya stated that no one made her feel like she was a Bombay girl, who had come to the set at a point, rather she was warmly welcomed, and the way they made her comfortable, even in the language itself, proved how much support she received. Aishwarya mentioned that this support and love could be synonymous with being pampered. She further revealed how she was not feeling like an outsider or newcomer, rather she was given confidence and even long shots at one go, given the kind of dialogue the movie had. Aishwarya could be quoted as saying:

"What was beautiful is I wasn’t made to feel alien. I wasn’t made to feel like a Bombay girl having come here at no point in time. And I think the fact that they made me so comfortable about the language and being part of the family, that in itself, I think, speaks. It’s synonymous with being pampered, where I did not feel like an outsider at all. At no point in time did I feel like a newcomer. At any point in time. And I was constantly pepped up and given so much confidence to even give long shots at one go, rendering that kind of dialogue.”

Aishwarya Rai talked about the growing atmosphere during her Tamil films 

In the same interview, Aishwarya Rai revealed that it was the best unit in which she could make progress. She added that being with the team of Jeans and Iruvar, she felt it to be an extremely growing atmosphere and as well as satisfying as an actress. She thanked the team of Jeans for making her feel comfortable in Tamil, and boosting up the confidence in her. She also thanked the team for the role she was offered in Tamil, as she could connect to it beautifully, finding ties to her real-life character. Aishwarya Rai could be quoted as saying:

"I have Shankar and the entire unit of Jeans to thank immensely, for one, making me feel so comfortable in Tamil and having helped me gain so much confidence, which I wasn’t all there with yet, having done only one film before. So for this, I have them to thank. And of course, even the entire cast of Jeans. And the role given to me, again, I have to thank them for that, because it is well-rounded, it is complete, it has got both facets of the girl who I probably am, so it helped me interpret the character beautifully.”
