One of the popular Indian actresses, Aishwarya Rajesh, is a famous face in the Tamil film industry. Apart from playing incredible roles in Tamil movies, the actress also works in Telugu and Malayalam movies. Presently, Aishwarya is busy promoting her new-released film, Farhana. During one of the promotional interviews, the actress talked about her stint in Telugu cinema. However, what grabbed all the attention was when Aishwarya Rajesh claimed that she could have done a better job in the character 'Srivalli' than actress, Rashmika Mandanna in Allu Arjun’s movie, Pushpa.
During the promotional interview for her film, Farhana, Aishwarya Rajesh talked about her brief stint in the Telugu industry alongside actor, Vijay Deverakonda in World Famous Lover. The actress shared that she likes the Telugu industry and wants to do a good Telugu film, like a comeback, for which her family would feel proud because of her roots. The actress shared that she worked with actor, Vijay Deverakonda in a Telugu movie, but it didn't go as expected. Aishwarya stated:

"I like the Telugu industry but I want to do a good Telugu film like a comeback, which will make my family proud because of my roots. I starred in World Famous Lover opposite Vijay Deverakonda but it didn’t work out as expected."

Further in the interview, the actress stated that Rashmika played the character of 'Srivalli' well in the movie, Pushpa, but she could have been suited more in the character of 'Srivalli' than Rashmika Mandanna if she was offered such a role. Elaborating on the same, Aishwarya Rajesh stated:
"In case I were given the opportunity, I would have jumped at it. Rashmika played Srivalli well but I feel and believe I would suit the character better."
Aishwarya Rajesh won her fame with the award-winning Tamil film, Kaaka Muttai. The actress even received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress in 2014 for the same movie. Apart from the movie, she also showcased her masterclass acting skills in several other Tamil movies like Boomika, Driver Jamuna, The Great Indian Kitchen, Soppana Sundari, Run Baby Run and more. For the unversed, Aishwarya Rajesh also worked in the Hindi movie, Daddy alongside actor, Arjun Rampal. In addition, she co-starred with Dhanush in Vetrimaran's Vada Chennai as 'Padma' and played the role of 'Kousalya Murugesan', a female cricket player, in her solo film, Kanaa. These two roles are considered to be her best roles.

Aishwarya Rajesh is currently busy promoting her newly released film, Farhana. In the movie, the actress played the main role of a Muslim girl who is forced to take a job in a call centre. Justin Prabhakaran is the director of the movie, which is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and was released in theatres on May 12, 2023. Apart from Aishwarya, Jithan Ramesh, Aishwarya Dutta, and Selvaraghavan were seen to play prominent roles in the movie.
