Ajay Devgn is one of the most successful actors in Bollywood, with his career spanning over three decades. The actor has always been upfront with his opinions and shares his experiences for the younger generations to follow. The actor recently gave an interview on the NH Studioz YouTube channel where he discussed the need to adapt to the changing times. He also added how work keeps people active, citing the example of Amitabh Bachchan.

Ajay believes that Big B is active and sane due to his approach to work continuously

Ajay Devgn believes that work is an essential part of our life that can keep us active rather than taking breaks. To explain his point, he gave an example of Amitabh Bachchan, citing that the passion of the 81-year-old actor has kept the megastar intelligent and sane. He was quoted as saying:

"The moment you stop working and decide to chill in life, you will age three times faster than what you are ageing. Look at Mr (Amitabh) Bachchan. He loves to work, he's continuously working at this age also. He's intelligent, normal, sane today also, only because he's working."

Ajay says working on the sets gives him a lot of happiness 

During the promotional interview for his upcoming film, the Tanhaji actor said that after a certain point, hobbies and breaks, without a reason, fade away in life. He shared that his work gives him the highest joy in life, and people should continue working. In his words:

"Gradually, you start forgetting all your hobbies. And now, when you have a break, you really don't know what to do with yourself. You feel that, 'I enjoy being on set'. Even if you take a break...you say, 'What do I do with myself?' I'm the happiest on set or when I'm working. I also believe – and I hope everybody believes this as well – that till whatever age you live, you keep working."

Ajay admires the regulations in Singapore for elderly citizens

Ajay further shared an interesting observation he made during his trip to Singapore. For the unversed, Ajay Devgn's daughter, Nysa, studied in Singapore. He explained that during one of his visits, he witnessed that the elderly in Singapore are offered to work in roles that suit their abilities. Also, it ensures that they have no extra physical strain, which is admirable. The Shivaay star added that everyone has a limit to their life, and working hard extends it.

On the work front, Ajay Devgn was last seen in the horror film, Shaitaan. He is busy promoting his upcoming film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, which co-starres Tabu and Jimmy Sheirgill. Moreover, the actor has been shooting for the third sequel of his popular film franchise, Singham.
